Rick Wright of Pink Floyd
I heard the keyboard and one of vocalists of Pink Floyd died 2 days ago. I recently got into them. I got Darkside of the Moon, The Piper at the Gates Of Dawn, and A Saucerful of Secrets. I play their music non-stop, and it brought tears to my eyes to hear this. Being really into music and playing various instruments, I was very sad to hear this. I'm not wimpy or a push-over. My father in Chicago got tears in his eyes also ( a Bass player for 32 years). What is your thoughts? Does this mean anything to you?

raves +5 posted Sep 17, 2008 10:30PM GMT (edited)Rick Wright was a Master in his own class! We still have David Gilmour & his soul moving guitar work. I am a FLOYD FAN for life, and their music & Rick's work has moved & moulded me, and got me through some dark times in my life.
Rick's-"WISH YOU WERE HERE" & David's-"ON THE TURNING AWAY". top two songs EVER for me!
