Ominous Situation Today
Each day it seems there are fewer folks who are willing to make the hard choices and stand up against error and heresy in the Christian faith.
This is an ominous and sad situation my friends, especially in the "Christian" world for we are instructed to "admonish" those in error and to "contend for the faith" (Romans 15:14; Jude 1:3). Otherwise the leaven of the false doctrines slowly invades all areas until the faith of many is made shipwreck (1 Timothy 1:19).
Why is this happening?
Primarily because of what Jesus said in John 3:19:
."..men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil."
Today we have a lot of evil loving people professing to be Christians and their word is believed over that of God, to the detriment and eternal death of many.
Read the Bible my friend, trust no man when it comes to the things of God! Be diligent and search the word of God to see if their words be true.
"These were more noble than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness of mind, and searched the scriptures daily, whether those things were so." Acts 17:11
