chasing windmills
having been on sodahead only a few weeks i certainly can't claim to be all knowing but from what i've seen so far everyone here has very strong opinions and thats a good thing the thing i worry about is the bandwagon jumping that goes on in regards to politics whether you are a democrat ,republican,or independent it seems as though instead of extolling the virtues of your own candidate there is a tendency to bash the other one. that is except for one group and that is the ron paul revolution i must admit i kinda came in late as far as following the internet movement for his campaign but i do commend everyone involved not only for their seemingly undying loyalty but the professional and classy way that they conducted themselves it looks as though paul has ramped things down a bit leading toward an inevitable conclusion but the principles that attracted all of the supporters to his campaign will surely march on it's such a shame that the political process has become so bogged down in primaries and delegates and rules that the whole idea of electing someone in a democratic manner has become so complicated over the 200 and 20 years or so that we have been a democracy there have been many events and changes but one thing that surely hasn't changed is the dream of a better america and this is a noble cause indeed ron paul may not be our next president but maybe his movement and ideals will help produce leaders that the children of the future can read about in the history blogs and perhaps even look up to until then real change is still only a dream

You will always find a few people who can only engage in hate speach, name calling, cursing and insulting, but most people here only get testy when dealing with the aforementioned. Most people can get their point of view across pretty intelligently. Welcome to the club. -
I think most people do a great job getting their opinion across without insulting. Some issues are very personal and conversations get heated. I like Ron Paul, but why do his followers think he could win? He is a constutitutionalist he believes in the Bill of Rights. HELLO did they forget the entire liberal party hates this and everything America stands for.
