What is America coming to? A man with only 24 months in national government is now going to be a democratic nominee. A man with only 24 months experience is going to handle our foreign affairs, a man with 24 months experience will know how to turn our economy around, a man with 24 months experience is going to give blue collar workers their dreams back, a man with 24 months will have the know how to improve our healthcare coverage, a man with 24 months experience will know how to bring our troops back, a man with 24 months of experience will bring unity to the people. It will never happen. It takes 18- 24 months just to fill comfortable in a new position. Goes to show you just how arrogant Obama is. Experience is the best teacher and Obama lacks experience needed to lead a nation.
Now Obama has to change his image as rough and tough. You could see it on his message to McCain. Come on I'll take you on McCain on security. Don't worry Obama he's going to take you on and out when the timing is right.
No person with 24 months of experience should be aloud to become president until he has proven himself. And to have Michelle be first lady to represent our country is a joke. On the news the democrats was saying it was wrong to pick on Michelle and her words. Well it seemed to be okay when the Dems. did it to Bill. Fair play, Michelle because she will also be ripped.
Obama may be basting in his nomination but he is only the puppet that the high powered politicians will play with. And once he is in that position there's no way out for him. He will then be playing with the big boys and he will turn into a washington politician.

WE are coming to better things as soon as we turn Jethro and his thugs out of DC altogether...well..except to call them back into town to stand trial for corruption.

One thing that is vastly overlooked is that Senator Barack Obama is no dummy. He is not naive, incompetent or incapable. He will transform the face of politics as we know it - for the better. It will be the last chance America has to overcome her growing deficits and truly become competative in the changing contructs of an emerging global economy.
Yes, there will be many compromizes. This is true with any president.
Yes, his personna is key to our global influence. This is indespensible. It is in fact smart politics.
India is now the largest democracy in the world. It has more children than America's entire population. Their poorest neighborhoods are still en toto worth multiple billions in investment dollars and American corporations are pouring their businesses into it. The profits ARE NOT COMING BACK to the states, but are reinvested overseas. America is losing out and Bush is helping.
Even asked yourself why Halliburton moved it corporate headquarters to Dubai? Others are following suit to different nations poised for economic growth while America falters.
Americans need a chance to get into the loop. To invest in these emerging economies. It will be extremely difficult for working-class families, but not impossible with hard sacrifices. We are all entirely too soft and out of touch with what is going on.
The GOP wants the few to have the advantage and send the rest ignorantly down the tubes. The Democratic Party will open the door of opportunity again with investments in innovations that secure standing on a global scale. Innovations the GOP has quelled and stymied for 8 long years.
No one can stop global terroism, but to war with it unilaterally is ineffective and fuels it even more. There have to be other solutions. In the meantime draining our resources is making the United States increasingly vulnerable and impotent.
Senator Obama and others know we can't go in indefinately like this and he wants to free us from the gridlock and incalcitrance of an administration bent on dying rather than admitting mistakes, continues rampant spending, while our infrastructure weakens and seeing changing course as defeat. -
I like what you wrote, but I don't feel Obama is the hope and change. There are too many questions who this man really is and his true beliefs. His character is questioned. This man may become a good president in the future after he has a record to back up his plans and people get to know this man. You wouldn't buy shoes before you try them on. The same goes for any politician to hold the highest office in the world.
I don't know your age but back in the 70's we went through the samething with the economy( not as bad now but nevertheless bad) and the oil. We were suppose to be moving to become independent of other countries for oil but what happened that it never happened. We have enough in oil reserves now to carry us 80 years plus. So why are at this time still buying it from other countries. The answer is Bush and Cheney. It's about time we open up our reserves for the American people. It's about time we start pulling out of Iraq, it's about time we start taking care of our people here at home. Of all the taxes this government collects from all of us and we have no say where our taxes are distributed and to whom. They spend our hard earned money frivilously. Anyone other than Bush will bring change. But I still believe that experience is the best teacher and is the best for the country. I am afraid that Obama will be owned by the high powered politicians and they will be calling the shots. Thats all those politicians want is someone they can control.
We also must remember that although we had a GOP president the senate was contolled democrats yet nothing has been done these last 2 years about the war and our failing economy.
It is written that Israel will become a free nation but before the rapture and true peace there will be another war. It is predicted that it will be with Iran and that China and Russia will side with Iran against us. This will be the final destruction of America. as what is happening now we are never going to be the rich nation we once were. We are leading to our own destruction and we as a nation should wake up and understand what is written and what is written cannot be changed: unavoidable.
