Okay, there is no mention of his father's coffin in that speech. He did mention his grandfather's coffin. Also, what you have in text as "57" was stated verblly more like "fifty.... seven?" and he was not talking about Islamic states, as you are. It was simply an error. People do make them.

Try listening to the actual speech... it looks to me like you haven't actually done that. If you have, then you too have made an error or two. Like I said... people do that.

what are you trying to say?? that Obama brought a U.S. flag with him to Kenya?? he did not even go to his fathers funeral.. so how could he have recalled how the flag looked draped across the coffin??? tell me that please... His father was a Muslim as was most of his family..I did not say that Obama was.. He isnt ..he says he is a Christian but he isnt that either.. he IS a racist and hate monger tho cause he belongs to the Cones black liberation theology church that preaches hate of whites and blame of whites for what happened to blacks..he's been there over 20 years and never once took a stand against racism and hate.. he sat there and condoned it all those years..that makes him a racist.. The church however and the religion is not by any means Christian.. it is a made up religion that was meant to suit the blacks and create hate for whites.. it really is social and political insurrection. and by the way Kenya is not in South Africa.. South Africa is the very southern tip of Africa and Kenya is on the east coast..on the Indian Ocean.. above Tanzania, West of Somalia and East of Uganda.
Now about the speech where he said 57 states.. So are you privy to what Obama thinks then?? Just how do you know what he meant or did not mean?? I was simply pointing out that 57 states is the EXACT NUMBER OF ISLAMIC STATES IN THE ISLAMIC CONFERENCE.. AND perhaps that figure was in his mind because he has a lot of influence from Islam.. in his family, his pastor and Louis Farrakahn, so it would not be surprising for him to know that there are 57 states.. I think it is possible.. and you cannot refute that..

Anyway, Techoneus, nice try.. but it doesnt fly..When I write I try to stick to the truth or the facts or at least a reasonable theory of what could be possible..Unless you have something to prove what you are saying.. you shouldn't try... youi also shouldn't call people a liar unless you know that to be a fact..

Sorry... I've gotten so used to people accusing him of being Muslim based on old and completely false rumors that I didn't carefully read what you had written. Sure, it's possible that all kinds of things "might have been on his mind" and of course you bring the question to my mind of why did you make the connection of how many islamic states there are? I don't even happen to know if you are right... but I do know that the huge pause between when he said "fifty" and when he finished up with "seven" tell me that it was most likely a simple error.

I'm also not trying to say that there was a flag draped over his father's coofin, but rather that I can not dispute it merely based on the fact that his father was from another country. That is not enough information from which to logically draw such a conclusion... but it may be enough information for someone trying to make connections where ever they can find them to concoct one.

I do apologize for misreading what you had written and thinking that you were spreading the old "He's a Muslim" lie. My mistake. It's just that I have seen it so much that it's tiring to even read all the way through each time... so I got lazy. Please accept my apology.

The fact remains though that many people will take what you are "suggesting" as being "fact" and pass it on as such. You also did say that he doesn't have any experience... which I think you know is not true.

As for where the 57 came from, it is also the number of contests in the Democratic primaries... but I don't know if that's what was on his mind either. Seems more likely though than what you've suggested. Also, if you take it "in context" you will notice that he indicated that he had one to go of the contiguous Unites States. One to go would have meant that "47" was the number he was looking for. He started out saying "fifty..." as if he was starting with that number and doing some mental math. Seems he simply didn't say everything that passed though his mind, or every syllable that he had intended to.

And you totally missed the point about the flag.. Obama was speaking in North Carolina.. is victory speech.. He was talking about patriotism, something he seems to have been told he better start acting like he has..and he looked off into the sunset and said.. Yes.. I remember the feeling of seeing the flag draped over my fathers coffin.. HOW COUILD HE HAVE DONE THAT .. HE DID NOT GO TO HIS FATHERS FUNERAL.. ???? that was my point..

yes..it is something that Obama said at his speech in NC. he said it meant so much to him to see the flag.. that his patriotism really was so strong looking at that flag draped over his fathers coffin.
