Philippians 2:1-2

God looks into our hearts for our spiritual obedience rather than perfection. We are still living in a sinful and imperfect world, and as spirit-filled believers, we are to acknowledge that perfection is in heaven.

"That if we have any encouragement from being united with Christ, if any comfort from His love, if any fellowship with the Spirit, if any tenderness and compassion, then make our joy complete by being like-minded, having the same love, being one in spirit and purpose." (Philippians 2:1-2).

thank you for beautiful message. Wish we were one, but at this time it appears we are seriously divided which will bring us 4 more years of misery.

    Thank you for responding.
I don't think it matters who is elected at this point, I think it will be a bad 4 years too.
So sad that no one sees the bigger picture!

that is the hardest part for me to see and try to get others to see and fail.

All we are doing is banging our heads against the wall with some people it seems.
I'm tired of getting headaches because they won't listen!

People do not see because they have what I call Cyclops syndrome one eye. Those of us that do see have multiple eyes which allows us to see through the smoke.

    Oh you are so right!
They need to take the blinders off.

The problem is people rely on the media to make their decision and not grow their spirit. It is my spirit that helps me with seeing through all the bull...

Learning what a great word and you said it all. For some they stop and for others like ourselves we know that learning never stops.

Never ends. No matter how old we get we continue to learn and broaden our knowledge.

    isn't that a beautifuly thing?
  • raves +1   [-] by NJGranny
yes it is. It is a much better thing that sitting around with your head in the sand pretending that everything will be ok.

I have never been able to put my head in the sand. I was raised to never walk away from a wrong. Guess I should blame my wonderful parents...lol..

We both should then, cause that is how my mom raised me too.
Now I hope all my children have learned that from me too.

I have to tell you I believe my children have. I have two 31 and 19 year old and they are two of the most respectful kids I know.

    You are very lucky.
We have 8, but we are a his, mine and ours (but they are all ours now) and they are all good kids. Some a little more respectful than the others, but they are still young.
Our oldest is 36 and the youngest is 14, plus we have 5 grandkids.

Wow going up I had 7 brothers and sister. 8 is a good number, but don't tell that to my mon...lol.. Love kids as they are our future. It is a shame that some today lack respect for others causing divide and tension.

We are lucky the older ones watch over and try to protect the younger ones. I really am sure that they all have learned the right things, but some just have to stretch their wings alittle more then others.
I only had a brother. I missed out on the big family growing, so I guess I have made up for it. lol

that is the beauty of it all.

    I think so too.
I stretched my wings, but I came back down to earth and I am now very well grounded.
