So I am making a new media player and came across a song that brings up memories of my friend. J.P. was a close friend of mine. He grew up with a very similar lifestyle to mine, but unlike me, one day he gave up. He woke up one morning and was a little late getting to his bus stop. Bus was pulling away as he came out the door. He began to run after it, but instead of stopping, the bus just drove on down the road as kids stuck their head out the window screaming shit like "run fat boy, run." He had to ask his sister to take him to school. She had to rush cause she had a job interview to go too later that day. She pretty much cussed him out the entire way to school. He showed up in time to catch his 2nd period class. It was a class full of transfer students from Avon, a school not to far from ours. Every day the kids would make fun of J.P. about the clothes he wore because he was to poor to afford more than 3 shirts to wear a week. J.P. sat in that class room and wrote a letter to his few friends and family. The teacher walked by a read what he was writing. He told J.P. that he was never going to amount to anything, and all he ever did was sit around and waste everyones time. He walked out of the class to the pay phones the school had next to the office. He called his sister in the middle of her job interview and begged to come get picked up. An hour later she finally showed up and took J.P. home. She didn't get the job, and was pissed that J.P. had called. She dropped him off at home and went out to look for another job. J.P. went inside the house and laid his suicide note on the table for his family to see. Walked into the back room, opened his step fathers unlocked gun case, picked up the already loaded 12 gauge shot gun, walked to his bedroom and put the barrel into his mouth. It took thousands of taunts at J.P. Thousands of more letdowns... but it only took J.P. a slit second to pull the trigger and end his own life. He put up with bullshit day after but that day but on Oct 26 2004, J.P. ended his own life, not to escape the torment, but to satisfy all those mother fucker that talked shit. 17 years old, 1 year away from being done with school, he decided it would be best to die. I carried his casket to his grave. I was the last person to see the kids face before they put 6 feet of dirt on top of his casket. This song may seem silly to everyone, but for me its the last memory I have of J.P. I love that dude like a fucking brother, or as he would put it, A fucking Homie! R.I.P. J.P. <br/>
