McCain picked a woman to outdo Obama. Why? McCain desired to woo voters who are for Hillary and the women’s movement. Some people will be dumb enough to be wooed over by McCain’s dirty plan because they’re upset about the losing of Hillary and some will believe it’s a step for the women’s movement. Other than some not voting for Obama for the obvious color reason, those who do not support Obama and other candidates will believe the Republicans have turned a new side into picking a female…when in reality they could give a rat’s ass about women period. I want to see how this all plays out though. I do see the hypocrisy of this though. American media, other Democrats, and people in general worried and bothered Obama on being inexperienced; however, McCain picks an inexperienced VP and a lot of people are praising about it. My mother and I were talking the other night and she told me, “You see, son? All you have to be is white to make it, no matter how much little you know how to do things.” Now, she wasn’t being racist or bigoted, even if it sounds that way, she was in fact telling the truth here. What would have happened if Obama had picked a woman with little experience like McCain did? Hell would’ve gone loose. Now you see some Republicans and possibly some Democrats and Independents praising McCain’s choice of picking a woman, despite her inexperience, ignoring the fact that they acted they were afraid of Obama because of his “inexperience”…that’s called, “hypocrisy”.

This is to reference to a poll I answered earlier in which I believe should be meditated on for awhile. The paragraphs below is a response to the political correctness towards those of the Islamic faith and how some believe that arguing one's views can be seen as hostile. ................................................................ Though freedom of expression and speech are valid in this nation, I believe presenting one's opinion about someone or something should be presented civil (respect) when dealing in getting one's point across. "PC" terms and arguments wouldn't have to exist if people (as society) could mature and be respectful and logical with their arguments. One can respectfully talk about the Islamic faith, without ridiculing, hitting the points that concerns them as an individual and the safety of others. And those whose group(s) are being respectfully criticized, should learn to accept other's opinions without resorting to hostility, and in return, argue respectfully back to the initial debater. Let's evolve everyone. This is no longer the 20th century and before, it's the 21st century, and it's time to progress into the future.

A remembered reaction to 9/11.

When 9/11 occurred, I was either a sophomore or junior (high school) in the middle of a math exam I didn’t study for. A teacher happened to run into our classroom, disrupting us, to inform our teacher to turn the television on. Our teacher, a bit disturbed, turned the television on for all of us to watch the news. At the time, the first tower was hit…all we did was sat and wait, to understand what was going on. Though, I was unsure of the situation and my condolences were for the people, I was relieved that we could cease from taking our exams. Within several minutes, we spotted the second plane flying into the towers, whilst them falling down. At first several of my peers and I thought it was a previews for a really good movie to soon hit the theaters; however, we were proven wrong. Some people at the high school panicked and started crying while in the courtyard, there was a circle of praying students (maybe sixty or sixty five), a majority were indifferent and went on with their own business, and some laughed and joked over the situation. I on the other hand was indifferent…more on the side of being speechless as I didn’t know how to react. I remember crying and becoming angry at the situation when I was home. All I can say is that I remembered being in the middle of crossfire at my high school as I defended some of my Arab and Indian peers from the physical and verbal attacks spewed by other students. Though, many students could decipher between the terrorists and the peaceful individuals that had nothing to do with the situation, there were a few that lumped them together. And, though I knew not all people who descended from the Middle East were at fault, the constant bombardment of the media showing videos of cheering Arabic nations over the death of so many Americans, made me eventually start to hate Muslims, and become prejudice against people from Africa, Middle East, and Southern Asia. Though, in the present I’m no longer disgusted by them as a whole, as later on, life has taught me to judge people based on character and actions, rather than their outside and their beliefs/religions.
