Drain grease. Add tomatoes and beans and all other ingredients. Simmer for about 30 minutes. The longer you simmer the better the taste. Serve with a dollop of sour cream and top with diced onions and cheese and crackers. My daughter in Cali came in a bit early and spent it with us and my one brother and his family on 12/15/2007. What a wonderful time we had. This year I went to my GF&#39;s Home on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day to spend it with her and her hubby and about 20 others encluding her new GrandNiece 2 weeks old. What a Blessings it is to have her in my life as a Christian Sister and a GF of 35 years. We got plenty of snow on Dec.15th and alot on Dec. 31st too! I luv snow by the way. New Year 2008: It was a nice nite to yell-at-the-top of my lungs &quot;HAPPY NEW YEAR!&quot; out my door. I spent it with a Christian Sister going thew some trials and my OH (short for Other Half). We played games, ate pizza &amp; shrimp, and toasted with the usual &quot;Sparkling Grape Juice&quot; in our fluted Champagne glasses. She went home at around 4:00p.m. (Chicago time) and the rest of the nite was spent with my #2 daughter who is here in Chicago IL USA. The next day I felt very ill. I have asthma very bad and my Left knee is in bad need of surgery. I have had surgery on my Right knee a year ago Nov. 2006. But no matter their are so many more much worse off than me.
