I have been so caught up in school and the real world and I haven&#39;t had the time to think about getting on Sodahead. I&#39;ve been working on a HUGE research paper for my US history class (so NOT fun!!!!) that is worth two major test grades in two different classes and I just got done with nine weeks exams last week. Also, on top of the paper and cramming for exams I have been going through family issues, that I really don&#39;t want to get into and TRUST ME you really don&#39;t want to hear about it. Nothing really is happening with me this week except my friend Stephanie&#39;s party this weekend and homecoming. I&#39;m just relaxing this week and taking a breath. I just wanted to say hi to everyone and just let people know I haven&#39;t disappeared off the face of the earth. My dad has had a Obama in our yard for almost a year now (still suprised that it has lasted this long and hasn&#39;t mysteriously vanished). The first week we had it up we had someone hit our mailbox with a baseball bat. After that day we haven&#39;t heard anything about it until just recently when McCain picked Palin for his VP that is when all hell broke loose. Since I live in a small town word seems to get around quickly. My bitter aunt who is still stuck in the old days, usually sends us eggs. When my brother, who is a conservative, went to go pick up those eggs from her she told him not to give those eggs to them &quot;n&quot; word lovers, which was referring to my parents, my sister and her husband, my other brother (which she already hates), and me (well I guess that explains why I didn&#39;t get a birthday card this year from her, oh well.) Since all my relatives are conservative except for my one cousin who is for Obama, this short stuff is going to have a VERY interesting Thanksgiving this year, especially, since we have it at our house and the first thing you see as you pull into our drive way is that Obama sign. Just the thought of Thanksgiving this year sets off my gag reflexes and usually Thanksgiving is my favorite time of the year. Honestly, its not my relatives that I&#39;m worried about but its my father who has already said that is going to stop having Thanksgiving at our house if he hears anything about the Obama sign, which really ticked me off. I love my family to dang much to allow him to do that. I don&#39;t care if their liberal or conservative they are entitled to their own opinion and they are still family.
