Weekend in the middle of the week!
Sorry I have been away from here for a while... I've been having some computer problems *argh* For now, I am using HG's computer when I can.
Anyway... HG and I took off for a few days and went to St. Petersburg for a "weekend" get away. Let me tell you, it was a BLAST!
We got a suite in this REALLY nice hotel (The Ponce DeLeon). It was pricy but WELL worth it! We really just hung out and did some writing. There are some HOT men in St. Pete!!!!!!! We never found out their names... so, we gave them nicknames! LOL
First was Mr Hospital... We went to Johnny Rocket's for dinner Tuesday night. Mr Hospital (who told us he worked at a hospital) was just checking in as we got back to the hotel. He held the elevator for us... it turned out, we were staying on the same floor and he was staying right across the hall from us. Later that night, we went down to the lobby to use their computer and he was down there, talking to the front desk clerk. As we were going back up in the elevator, he literally RAN to the catch it! :D OMG! The next morning, as we left the hotel for breakfast... he was outside talking to some of his friend/co-workers. No sooner had I walked out of the door, he turned to us, waved and smiled!
Second, was Mr Waiter. At restaurant we went to for breakfast, the waiter we had was YUM! Dark hair and chocolate brown eyes! I don't know if we drooled more over the food or him! LOL Day turned into night... and we got thursty and hit the bar/restaurant downstairs. We sat ourselves (since the hostess didn't pay any attention to us). Mr Waiter came over to see if everything was alright and to tell us he was going to get the waitress. We sat and had our drinks (HG got a Peach Sunrise and I got a Cactus Flower with an overload of tequilla). Mr Waiter paced by us when he was on his break.
We left that bar and hit a bar near this small concert venue (Jannus Landing where we are going to see Nightwish)... and there were some NICE looking men there! We had a few drinks there and waited for the songs HG played on the juke box (Planet Hell by Nightwish, Bleed Well HIM and Rebel Yell Billy Idol). Just as Bleed Well came on, the Rancid concert let out and EVERYONE flooded the SMALL bar. As soon as the first notes of Rebel Yell played, the whole bar cheered! You could not hear Billy Idol singing because everyone was singing along at the top of their lungs! It was a FUCKING blast!!
Unfortunately, we had to check out today and didn't get to see either of the hotties! :(

I knew I had some great friends on here... but, I never knew how great they were! Last night, while I slept and got ready for work, my friends rallied together to support me as others bashed me and dragged my name through the mud. I feel truly blessed that I have them in my life. I have never met them face to face... but they are people I would consider my best friends! Even though we are strangers... and only know each other by screen names... it feels like I've known most of you forever! Miles and, in some cases, oceans may seperate us... but you are all close to my heart! I thank each and every single one of you that stood up for me! You guys are the best! And even if you weren't there... or don't know what I'm talking about... thank you for being my friend! I know I can count on you for support and I hope you know you can come to me for ANYTHING! I love you guys with all my heart!

I'm getting tired...
... of seeing every other question/poll on here be about those Annoying Jonas Brothers! Before now, I could at least tolerate them because my niece liked them... now they are just getting plain annoying! I have been really tempted to DR all the polls and answers JUST because I'm f**king tired of hearing about them! Who's cuter... Nick, Joe or Kevin?? WHO CARES!!!!!!!!!!! Give me Ville Valo... Lauri Ylonen... Tuomas Holopainen... Hell... give me back my ex-husband!!! I'll take him over the Jonas Brothers ANYDAY!!!!!!!
... of having to point out to people who have worked at the hotel I work at what to do when they have been there longer than I have! Take Wednesday afternoon for example! I found 8 things that needed to be done... 8... I wrote up a list and gave it to the night house keepers to do... and they were SIMPLE things!! When I went back into work last night, it was the SAME things that needed to be done that weren't. I GUARANTEE those girls sat there for an hour doing NOTHING before the boss stepped in and told them what needed to be done!

Why is it that Sodahead has turned into a high school filled with little children that either criticize you for liking a certain group or go running to mommy when someone steps on their toes? Has anyone else noticed that? I've got half a mind to just yell FUCK IT and quit, but the other half is saying "No, you're an adult. Stick it out. Things will improve." I dealt with my share of bullshit while I was ACTUALLY IN high school! Just about all of it was PETTY, just like it has become here. If you have any kind of problem with me or what I like, dude, send me a message! I'm old enough to know how to deal with criticism! I'm not a baby or child, I am an adult! Don't go running to a moderator behind my back and say "oh, Lucifer's Angel did this" or "Janice did that". Be a woman/man and say it to my proverbial face!
