Today I had to put my best friend down. His name was "Snickers." I adopted Snickers when I lost my other loyal friend named "Hershey" to cancer. He was 5 years old. Too young to die. Hershey was a mixed lab-border collie. When I lost him my heart was torn, but 2 days later I adopted Snickers from the humane society. Snickers helped me heal. He was also a mix lab and well behaved. 5 months later we adopted a brother for Snickers who was also a mix lab. My Snickers wasn't acting himself just like Hershey. But I thought maybe it was just me b/c of what happened to Hershey. The doctor said that Snickers exam was normal but did some blood work. The doctor saaid he would call me when he got the results that day. He called before closing and said b/c of my other dog he felt heartsick in telling me Snickers had acute leukemia and the outlook was grim. He said at best he would live only 120 days. That was on June 5th and today I had to put my baby Snickers to sleep. He was only 4 & 1/2 years old. My heart right now is heavy but I know he is in doggie heaven with Hershey. His brother Jake is just laying around b/c we all were up with Snickers since 2 AM today. So love your pet and take them wherever you go never know when something might happen. Last night we took Snickers and Jake for their night ride, he saw the ducks and everything. Last night he was himself, moved slowly and then at 2 this morning he couldn't walk and was floopy. He was scared so I held him til the end. I thanked him for making my life brighter and that I will always hold him close in my heart.

Their 21-year-old son, Jack, is poised to graduate from Annapolis and also could join the Marines as a second lieutenant. The couple made the decision not to draw attention to their sons out of respect for other families with sons and daughters in harm's way.

Cindy also says she doesn't want to risk falling apart on the campaign trail talking about Jimmy who was so
young when he enlisted she had to sign consent forms for his medical tests before he could report for duty and potentially upsetting parents of soldiers who are serving or have been killed. The McCain's want to make sure their boys get no special treatment.

Same goes for their five other children, including a daughter they adopted from Bangladesh. During a visit to Mother Teresa's orphanage there, Cindy noticed a dying baby. The orphanage could not provide the medical care needed to save her life. So she brought the child home to America for the surgery she desperately needed. The baby is now their healthy, 16-year-old daughter, Bridget. Though all seven McCain children including two Sen. McCain adopted from his first marriage are supportive of their father, they prefer their privacy to the glare of the campaign trail. Another daughter, Meghan, 23, helps him behind the scenes.

Cindy McCain not only cherishes her children, but also her country, which in an election year filled with America-bashing, is a refreshing novelty. She seethed when she heard Michelle Obama's unpatriotic remarks that she only recently grew proud of America. "I am very proud of my country," Mrs. McCain asserted. She also may be tougher than the other women in the race. While Hillary thinks she's come under sniper fire on mission trips abroad, Cindy has actually seen violence. She witnessed a boy get blown up by a mine in Kuwait during a trip with an international group that removes land mines from war-torn countries.

Mrs. McCain also is a hands-on philanthropist. She sits on the board of Operation Smile, which arranges for plastic surgeons to fix cleft palates and other birth defects. She also has helped organize relief missions to Micronesia.

During a scuba-diving vacation to the islands, Mrs. McCain took a friend to a local hospital to have a cut treated. She was shocked, and saddened, by what she saw. "They opened the door to the OR, where the supplies were, and there were two cats and a whole bunch of rats climbing out of the sterile supplies," she recalled. "They had no X-ray machine, no beds. To me, it was devastating because it was a U.S. trust territory." As soon as she
returned home, she arranged for medical equipment and teams of doctors to be sent to treat the island children.

Michelle Obama may contribute to CARE, which fights global poverty and works to empower poor women. Cindy sits on its board. While the Democrat women talk about helping the poor and needy, Cindy McCain actually rolls up her sleeves and does it. Who's the out-of-touch

Don't know how true this statement. I am hearing that the USA has more oil than the Saudi's, Venzuela etc but what our government or whoever is in charge of America's oil are selling our oil to other countries at their price where in some countries it is $9.00 a gallon. If this is true how much will the American people put up with before there is an uproar in this country. How corrupted is our government?
I am with McCain we need to drill for more, unlike Obama we have to learn to consume less..I say BS... let the big guns who run our country give up their private jets and travelling around the world on taxpayers money..let them give up.... I am tired of the working class people having to do the sacrificing ..... once again let the rich learn to downsize their life style including their big lavish homes with swimming pools, oversized cars and limos. What gives them right to tells us to start giving up...well it is a two way street. And if this is what the government is doing with our own oil they should be ashamed of themselves.

The American people want change. It is about time we become independent of other nations. If Obama continues to put down drilling for our own oil he will not have the support of the working middle class. It is not all we need to lower our prices but it is definitely a start along with alternative energy. Now that the American people know that we have more oil sitting under us than Iraq and Venezuela has together. I am going to be watching very closely the economy and gas price solutions.
Obama and the democratic party is screwing the American people in more ways than one but in the end the demos will end up screwed and righteously so.

Now it has been said he will do away with SS. what moore is going to be taken away from the working middle class. Looks what we paid into SS will also be lost. The government should have to dish out to us what we paid in.
Had friends that vacationed in Russia, they are saying that the US economy will be destroyed in 5 years. What is this telling us now about the situation we are facing in the future? Better start thinking seriously who will most likely protect America? It won't be the Democrats, they have outsourced our job making China a world power of trade and oil they refuse to make new refineries making the arab countries and Venezuela prosperous from our needs at home. We better think seriously who we want as our next president b/c our future will be riding on it. I believe we are sitting on the eve of destruction.

Now it is announced that the Obama campaign is now going to makeover Michelle into her softer side, a more compassionate Michelle. How fake is the democratic party going to get. Do they really think that the American people are going to forget her comments, not proud of America til now, if Hillary cannot keep her own house clean how will she keep the White House clean and another was when Obama is president we are all going to have to learn to live our lives differently. No thank-you Michelle. It will be Michelle who will have to live her life differently, she will have to put on a face on how much she loves America and let go of the anger toward the white people that is not only demonstrated with her arrogant words but it shows in her body language and face. This woman will not be a top class First Lady, her words already spoken will follow her wherever she goes. So Michelle Obama, to make peace with the American people a public apology is needed to the American people for you poor choice of words in which you are suppose to be an educated woman.
And one more thing, I am a believer that our country must start drilling on the offshores for oil plus other all the other resolutions to our dependency on foreign oil. Obama says it would take 5 years to see a difference. Well you know what Obama we have to start somewhere and right now we have to do something for our future. Do you Obama say this is not good b/c it would take away from the eastern world oil and you don't want to see this happen. Do you also have more interest and loyalty to the eastern world, something is not right with your thoughts. Wake up the American people are tired of this government and what they have done to our country. The democrats are going to have to change their policies in order to get some relief from the gas prices, if not it will destroy the American life and American dreams will cease to exist.

If Obama becomes president then it is written. It is also written that 7 years after the anti- christ arrives he will reveal himself. It is also written that before the rapture that there is a going to be another war and Israel will become a free nation. after this the rapture will take place. Our eyes are trying to be open to what is happening around us but we are not taking heed to the events that are now happening and why they are happening. Color is beautiful and we have it all here in America. See how wall street is contributing to the price of gas. I believe we should respect where respect is deserve. I believe we should all live as brothers and sister. God must look down on his creation and think why are they doing this.. I gave them beauty of life and they are destroying it. We all at one time have asked Why God did you let this happen, he didn't do it we did it to ourselves and continue to do it. We are all born with a freewill and we should exercise with caution on how we use it.

Yesterday's revelation that Barack Obama is planning to move a large portion of the DNC operations to his home town of Chicago has set off all kinds of alarms.

This is disturbing on so many levels. Chicago is widely known for corrupt "Machine Politics" and stokes our worst fear that "The Chicago Machine" is going national. Four of the last seven Governors of Illinois have been indicted for corruption and an effort is already underway to impeach current Governor Blagojevich for activities uncovered during the trial of Obama's long-time fundraiser Antoin "Tony" Rezko.


The Rezko trial has uncovered a complex network of cronies, and patronage -- and a shockingly large number of them have had relationships on some level with Barack Obama. Do we want the appearance, real or imagined, that these corrosive elements will be influencing our party at the most fundamental levels?

A good number of us already suspect that this has been taking place. Please contact Howard Dean and especially all representatives on the Delegate List in your state and tell them that you strongly oppose this move. Express your concern about the direction of the Democratic party.

I would like to say Tim Russert will be missed greatly. He was a very talented, dedicated and well liked interviewer. He was a tough interviewer and why many politicians backed down being interviewed by him. He may have been tough but he was fair. He was eloquent in his words about Hillary afer he interviewed her. My sympathy goes to his family and to all those that were close to him. They can be proud of him in so many ways. I will miss seeing him on Meet The Press. He always brought such knowledge to this program and made sure he always had the right facts.

Hillary Clinton herself not her campaign ran a class one race. She was impeccable and classy in her delivery what she would do to address the problems Americans now face. She never was vague in her solutions. She was a candidate whose life has been unveiled for the past 30 years, the good and the bad. Anyone who has followed her life can attest that she has been a strong and elegant in how she face all her adversities never giving up in what she believes in. One strong belief is the equality of women no matter what walk of life these women are from. She fought for people's right no matter your color or gender, rich or poor. And it will be because of how she ran as a candidate that one day men will step aside to a woman that will lead our country with honor, dignity and trustworthiness.
But until men look at women differently and not feel intimidated nor feel threatened by their leadership they will find fault with each woman candidate and capitalize. America and women no matter their color had the chance to show that a woman could indeed lead a country into peace and prosperity but instead chose to keep a man we do not know, a man with lack of experience and a man with the lack of undestanding for middle class Americans, a man's whose character, values and trust is questionable. Americans would like to believe they just wanted change but that word is undebatable because living in our country today anyone that was chosen would mean change when in fact they all got caught up in a movement and an empty suit.

Since you block people this is my response to your response. Michelle is a Princeton University graduate. When she said in a speech this is the first time I am proud of my country, misworded phrase, I don't believe so. The essay she wrote displayed racism, misworded essay, I don't believe so. When she spoke irresponsible, unclassy words of Hillary, misworded phrase, I don't believe so. Michelle is a lawyer and lawyers are very articulate in their words and wording. When a spouse campaigns for their spouse they are held accountable for the words they deliver. The media was justified in critcizing every misworded phrase. And when she spoke of Hillary in a undesirable way , she clearly demonstrated how unclassy she really is. All her misguided phrases made her transparent to who she really is.

FOX Sunday @ 8 PM ET is going to air on how the politicians have used 270 billion dollars of the taxpayers money for their families and relatives own use. People should come together and retaliate. I know this has been going on for a long time and this waste of our money has to stop. Who gives them the authority to do this?

I was happy to hear that Obama and Hillary had their private meeting. I feel they have a lot to talk about, things that was hurtful during the campaign, but more important after the heat of this campaign I believe these two people respect each other greatly. I believe these two people could work together in the most positive way for the country. And Obama could prove to the country that he is a uniter by really contemplating Hillary as a working VP not a VP as the media states one that goes to the funerals. Use this woman's experience to its potential in helping bring change and hope to all of us. He can bring his views and Hillary's view together and make this nation strong and powerful once again. The Clinton's have clout around the world that would work to his advantage. As far as Bill he could keep him busy as an international ambassador.
History can be made by bringing the first Black president and the first woman VP together to make this country unified as never before and together bring this country back to its greatness.

Michelle has made her first demand...from The View no less, they asked her to be a guest, she said no that she wanted what McCain's wife was offered to host the show...so she will be hosting sometime this month on the View.

After his famous speech that got him noticed he was asked if he would run for president in the next election year. He laughed and said no, that he did not have the experience to run the country. I would like to know what experience he obtained in such a short time that made him now think he can be president? What big money and politics have put him in this position and what is their cut in the pie? Something smells awfully fishy.

Despite the woes of our economy, the central question for voters should be ...who do we want in the White House should another terrorists attack occur: one who seeks to negotiate with evil, or one who is a warrior and wants to crush it? Never think we can negotiate with evil and transform it into something else. Not going to happen. If you can transforms it there would never have been a hell. If we are attacked again our economy and our freedom would be greatly reduced. So as much as I would have liked to see an economy change I must first vote for the safety of our country and vote for the true American I know I will now crossover and vote for McCain.

Only food for thought for Hillary's supporters...Obama was selected not elected. Hillary won the popular vote. Obama has won only under the rules. So it seems to me that the popular vote is irrelevant in our type of government only the rules count.

If Obama chooses Clinton as his VP...I believe democrats will win. But this win isn't really Obama's win..it is still Hillary's win because without her votes , the popular vote he loses and she wins no matter how you look at it. So what I am saying without Hillary as his VP the dems lose, it is her win.... if he chooses Hillary as his VP and he wins..it is her win not his. The way he wins is Hillary, the way he loses is without .
Let me say this about Hillary's loyalty to the Democratic Party, her and Bill's loyalty have been there at all times but the loyalty has not reciprocated. Hillary now is working on making her statement to the SD...she is giving them a chance to hear what the people are saying. If the SD's choose not to hear her words and hear the American people's choice I would like for her to say to the SD's ....I have supported and gave loyalty to the Democratic Party but I have been ridiculed and brought down by the Party I have supported and I feel that for the American people to be heard and represented in a most democratic way I have decised to leave the Democratic Party and go Independent to be able to be the voice of the American People.

Caesar uncommitted SD just made a statement on CSPAN concerning Obama's gaffe concerning Israel, Obama has magnificent curiosity. Have they not heard the saying "Curiosity killed the cat"
One caller called in saying why did the democrats cry in 2000 and 2004 every vote must count, why now that the shoe on the other foot they don't honor what they said in the above years. CNN just announced it is official Obama resigning from his church. That it was his personal decision. BS.... It was a political move. After listening to the DNC today I honestly believe that there will be no unity between the DNC and the voters. Now they will have to figure out how are they going to unify the voters. I have a feeling that they will be meeting in Denver.

FOX News announcing Obama dishonest with the American People. What kind of person hangs out with all these undesirables.
