Saddened
I am saddened by the rhetoric of Pastor Wright. I am saddened that it seemed Obama considered Pastor Wright more of a friend then the Pastor thought of Obama. Hillary and Obama would have made a great team together and the democrats would have made double history. I am saddened to see this man Obama who in given time I believe would have been a great president. As the saying goes good things take time and you can't rush it. He tried to become president to quickly not waiting for the American people first to get to know him as a person, then as a politician. I also believe some of the Democrats was pushing him for their own interests instead of for the interest of this upcoming national politician. I am saddened that some people have made it a racial issue which for the majority it isn't about the color of skin, it is not about gender and it surely is about a movement. It is about someone who cares enough about this nation and the people of this country to help bring our prosperity back home and bring peace once again to our country. Let our country once again be known as a peacmaker of nations. Let us respect each others beliefs and not try to instill our values to others that don't want ours. It is time that someone that has enough character we believe in to lead our country back to our hopes and dreams.
For once in all the speeches that he has delivered to us he finally looked into the camera as if he was speaking to the people at home.

Should Obama Decline
Maybe it is time that Obama step down from his nomination to keep the party united. I think somewhere along the line he was suppose to be a uniter and all that has been going on since this whole thing started is the opposite. His supporters blamed the Clintons for playing the race card, hello, it was Oprah that started the race card, they blamed Hillary's campaign for playing dirty when in fact it was Obama's questionable associations with certain people that led to all the questions, it was Michelle's words I have never been proud of America til now, I don't know if I will vote for Hillary it dpends on the issues in response when she was aked about this( was she planning to crossover or not vote) is this words of retaliation if Obama loses the nomination, not a first lady's qualities that I want in the white house. Is it politically correct to put a noose around the superdelegates and putting fear that if they don't vote for Obama a riot will be repeated in Denver as it was done in Chicago 1968 and that is exactly what no one wants. All this is making a division between parties and add between friends in the political arena.
Kennedy and LBJ
If anyone is here from the 60's they will remember that JFK and LBJ hated each but in order to take the White House JFK had to choose LBJ as running VP. Is this going to be another election like the JFK/LBJ ticket? Afterall both candidates are the chosen nominees by these primaries and caucuses by elimination. Everyone is predicting a McCain win if Obama is the winning nominee whether it is by crossover votes or unable to win states that are very much needed by the Dems to win. Either candidate at the end of this campaign would do well to choose the other for their VP. They say Obama wouldn't do this. If he is the winner and is the uniter he says he is Hillary will be his VP and vice versa. This would definitely display unity of the Democratic Party and show the people they together will make the rhetoric spoken in the campaign a reality.
There is a Difference
There is a difference when a candidate has association with a terrorist activist, a difference when a candidate has listened to a pastor and mentor say racist statements especially in regards to 911, it is a difference when the candidates spouse says this is the first time I am proud of America then it is to have someone that supports the candidate having these association. When we condone a candidate with these type of association then we should question ourselves how would we feel if our children assocciated themselves with a terrorist activist or go to a church and has a mentor that say the things Pastor Wright has said, has been in dealings with mobsters, then has a girlfriend that says she is not proud of America and has written an essay that was racists. What we you has a parent say if your child had association with Manson? There is no difference if your child has these associations then is with Obama who is candidate for Presidency having these associations. So how can you approve of Obama as a President then on the other hand try to influence a child not to associate with the same caliber of peolpe? If you wouldn't want your own child with these type of associations then why would you approve Obama for the highest position in the world and in charge of your future and the future of the children.
The reds flags surround Obama but evidently people are being blind to what is really going on with this man that the people hardly know. What dealings has Obama made with governments outside the country, no one knows and never say hogwash.
I am a person that never settles and I certainly will not settle with someone in charge of our country to a stranger that has questionable intentions. His contentions are misleading the American people.

Question of Wander
Does it make anyone wander why the Republicans have said they would win against Hillary but speak of how or their strayegy in beating Obama? How come the Republicans haven't mention how Hillary would be the easy win when they discuss how they will beat Obama? It is because they have nothing more to expose about Hillary then what we already know. The Washington Politicians may talk about the Clinton years and some may turn their backs on the Clintons but one thing we all know for sure that in the 90's we had prosperity and we had peace. So people that are agaist peace and their own prosperity by all means vote for the unknown. Vote for the man that has made a movement but no record of accomplishments, no experience in national government and just see where it will get you.
What do we want
okay everyone let us all wake up and see what has happened and is happening to our country. We are in a a war by default. A war our president created. A war he is not paying for but the little people of this country is paying for it. It is the small people in this country that are losing their loved ones. Obama beat Bush and Bush's decisions is what defeated himself at the expense of our once rich nation. Bush took his eye off the ball and put us one hell of a mess. But why would our President and VP care, they are making their own pockets heavier while the people here are wandering how they are going to make ends meet. Economists have spoken today and it is going to get worse in the next two years. I believe we had better get our heads on straight and vote for the person that is more experienced person in all the issues we face and I know Hillary is more able and will get our country back on the right road.
Do people really want to vote for a man that has had poor judgement in the people he has associated himself with, do we want to vote for a person that has to explain himself all the time, do we want a man that has his campaign made it a racial issue, do we want a man's who's wife has not been proud of America til now, do we want a man that has very little experience with an absent record of major accomplishments, do we want a man that he himself stated two years ago that he would not run for presidency in 2008 because of his lack of experience. Think about all the qualities that are positve but also who they have surrounded their life around. You wouldn't buy a pair of shoes without trying them on for fit so don't settle for anything less than what you know for a fact not just the words they speak.
Maybe that is a new slogan the American people should have " Never Settle"
With all this said we need a strong fighter in the White House who will give the middle class back their dignity and making sure the middle class people will always exists.
We are in serious times this is no time to settle for anything less than experience. I beg all of you that really look at the candidates and see what they stand for. Listen to their words. Obama says " I WOULD lower taxes, Hillary says " I WILL lower taxes" Obama says 'I WOULD take the troops from Iraq sensibly" Hillary says " I WILL bring the troops home sensibly and safely".... Now examine the words would and will. Which of the two words are stronger for delivery of what they say.... The word will means delivery.
I know that the sure thing is Hillary Clinton. I know Hillary will deliver what she says. I don't know anything about Obama that would make me excited, not his words, not his mentor, not his wife and surely not any of the people he has associated with in any way or form.
So do you want to gamble your life with the unsure that you don't know or do you want the sure thing that you know everything about. This is about the future of all of us.
Maybe President Clinton had his faults and we all do. But his faults did not hurt the middle class sector. Hillary Clinton will wear the suit proudly and she will deliver to the people more than even her husband gave to the middle class people.
To hell with the rich people that have become richer at the expense of the middle class. Hail the rich that have become richer but also made sure the middle class also prospered.

No Mistakes
When an individual reaches the level of being a candidate for Presidency there is no room for misjudgement in use of words when you address the people of the nation. You cannot be one person when you are with the elite and be another when you are with the common person. I believe a person must be themselves when they are amongst people of different attitudes and culture. It is up to the candidate to understand people of all backgrounds. Why put a phisod on when eventually it catches up with you has it as done with Obama. You cannot use words that hurt people then try to explain what you meant. People are of different educational backgrounds and each person hears the words that are spoken and there meaning not what you really meant. A person can be high up on the social ladder but a worldly person can bring themselves to different levels of the social ladder without a problem b/c of a candiate being humble and compassionate to every level. I really don't believe that Obama has the passion in his heart to lead our country "the melting pot" I can't help but think he is in this for only the personal gains. Among the people that are very close to him, have all used words that have hurt the American people in one way or another. I feel that Obama's campaign had made this election process about race. With how the people are divided how can they call him a uniter.

Howard Galganov is a former Montrealer who was in the forefront of the Language debate in Quebec - he is not a party man - it is interesting to note that he is running for an Independent seat in the Canadian Parliament in Toronto, where he now lives. What happens in the United States seriously affects Canada as it does so many countries around the world. If nothing else, this article should at least put a few questions which are not being asked or covered out there.

There Is A Racist In The Race To Win The Presidency
Thursday, March 20, 2008
I have to write about Barack Obama just because I have to.
I know that I should be focusing more writing time on my campaign to win an INDEPENDENT SEAT in Parliament, but the Obama story is just too compelling to ignore.
The Obama drama also has pertinence to what I have to deal with in the upcoming Canadian federal election which I will further explain in my next editorial.
First, I have to write about the media reaction concerning the big speech Obama gave the other day (March 18, 2008) in Philadelphia.
Whether you tuned into FOX, CNN or any of the other News providers, the critique of the style of his speech, not the substance, has been unanimous.
The general consensus amongst the media is that it was magnificent.
To me, this says much that is not flattering about the media.
Any television or movie star could have delivered as good a speech or better. But the people of America are not being asked to vote for a television or movie performer.
If you like watching Boston Legal, as I do, you hear unbelievably well crafted and impassioned speeches on every episode, as attorney "Allan Shore" dazzles the court with his sensational mastery of oratorical skills.
But we don't take it seriously, since it's all make-believe. Just like Obama's speech.
Obama READ from a very well written and highly crafted script, which I'm certain professional writers had a hand in creating. Just like the actors.
Let's look at what he said. And what he didn't say in his speech.
He didn't say his Pastor is a racist, bigot and inciter. Which he is.
He didn't say that he would quit this church that spews racism and hatred.
He didn't say I'm sorry.
He didn't say that he ever confronted the racist Reverend Wright.
He didn't say that he ever got up during a racist sermon and walked out the door.
He didn't say that he ever challenged the anti-White, anti-Semitic and anti-American views of Reverend Wright in front of the congregation or anywhere else.
HE SAID NONE OF THAT.
He did say that his White grandmother, who raised him, was a White racist.
He said that Reverend Wright said things that Ministers, Priests and Rabbis have said in their sermons. In my religious days, I attended Synagogue on the Jewish Sabbath for years, and I never heard any Rabbi speak anything like that.
I've also been to Protestant and Catholic services where I heard their sermons, and like the Rabbis I've heard, their sermons were nothing like the race baiting of Jeremiah Wright, Obama's Pastor, mentor and spiritual guide.
Obama talked about the need to build bridges and tear down walls.
Whose walls does he want to tear down? And what bridges have to be built that don't already exist?
He didn't address Jeremiah Wright's speeches that called Israel a dirty word.
He didn't condemn Wright's visit with America's worst anti-White and anti-Semite, Moslem leader Louis Farrakhan, to meet with the like-minded leader of Libya, the TERRORIST sponsor Qaddafi.
It was all a very well crafted, and incredibly polished Obama speech that delivered meaningless platitudes. As usual.
He didn't explain Wright's speech that said God Damn America. Or how White Americans created AIDS to wipeout people of color. He didn't deal with the message that White Americans through government agencies sell drugs to Blacks in order to destroy the Black culture. He also didn't make any mention of the fact that America had 9/11 coming to them, and somehow Israel was responsible.
He didn't even mention that Wright attacked fellow Blacks like Oprah, Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas, and Golf sensation Tiger Wood for their success. He likened them to Uncle Toms.
There's a lot Obama didn't say.
He did say a week prior to his speech, that he NEVER directly heard any of these horrible comments made by his Pastor Wright.
But in his Philadelphia speech, he said he had DIRECTLY heard these racist anti-American utterances by Jeremiah Write while he was sitting in the pews.
This completely explains his wife's two remarkable comments about the USA.
First, when she said: "For the first time in my adult lifetime, I'm really proud of my country". I guess she isn't proud that the USA defeated Communism freeing billions of people from the hold and threat of tyranny.
She's not proud of the TRILLIONS of dollars America has spent helping the world in every way imaginable. She's not proud of America's stunning discoveries and inventions dealing with everything from the Internet and computers to health and welfare.
More recently she said: "America is just downright mean". America is in fact amongst the most compassionate of countries on this planet.
She was simply speaking her truth as she supports it, even though she and her husband have been blessed by being Black people in modern day America, where they both attended the finest schools and universities, earn about a half million dollars a year between them, and hold prestigious jobs in "White" America.
Barack Obama has campaigned relentlessly on a platform not to make this election about race. But it is. And in my opinion, Barack Obama and his embarrassing wife Michelle, are both racists.
The Obamas are racists not just by with whom they associate, but more so, by what they have said, and by what they have not said. I hope Oprah and the Leftist kiss ass Liberals who gave them, and continue to give them their unconditional support are proud.
The pity of all of this in a Canadian perspective, is that we have our own voting population who are also too stupid, or too committed to political correctness to see through the fog.
Best Regards . . . Howard Galganov

questionable judgement
If Obama cannot show judgement in his choice of words, how can this man use the correct judgement to lead us as a country? This is an educated man that he, his mentor and his wife have a history in using misudgement of words. Words that hurt the American people. Do we want a president that always have to explain himself. No we do not. We already have one that always has to explain himself. We need a president that has this nation in his heart. We need a president that has carries a passion for the good of the people. We do not need a once eloquent public speaker that is now tripping over his own words. I have faith that all Americans can see through Obama's phisod.
FYI...Oprah
Oprah's popularity has declined big time since her endorsement of Obama and being with him in Iowa as reported on FOX. Doesn't suprise me a bit.
