Obama runs away from Town Hall meetings
Senator Clinton should have challenged Obama to the unscripted town hall meetings that McCain has proposed, but the Media and DNC made life difficult for Clinton to maneuver her campaign. Now, Obama gets an opportunity to prove that he is not a scripted puppet of the Media. Instead, the Media and his campaign refused McCain's proposal for unscripted town hall meetings where the voters decide the course of action.
What is the Media and Obama hiding that (they) do not want voters to find out during the (key word "unscripted") town hall meetings? If the Media and Obama supporters need to stage every event for Obama, then he is no President I want to lead our country. I want a President who can also think for herself/himself and articulate her/his thoughts without calling a timeout each time to stage the response.
According to the Associated Press this morning: "WASHINGTON - Presidential rivals Barack Obama and John McCain have failed to agree on joint town hall appearances. (My comment: No surprise that Obama refused to the town hall requests.)
Obama campaign manager David Plouffe said in a statement Friday that he offered to meet McCain in five joint appearances between now and the Nov. 4 election. But only one of those was a town hall meeting.
McCain wanted them to appear together in 10 town hall meetings that would be unscripted with questions from voters in the audience. (My comment: Remove the Media propaganda machine for Obama, and the public will finally get to see what voters really want.)
Obama preferred one town hall, plus three traditional debates and an in-depth debate on foreign policy." (My comment: Obama is trying to hide behind that Media smoke screen again.)
I find it apalling that the Media and Obama supporters (we might as well call them one and the same) insist on controlling the Presidential race. They know that McCain or anyone else during the town halls atand a solid and fair chance to trounce Obama. The town hall meetings are also good gauge of voter concerns that the Media tend to cover up.
... Perhaps the anti-terrorism and anti-trust laws should be applied to the Media to curb their appetite for destroying the US and prevent the Media from running the campaign for Obama. (I know, I may be stating some silly ideas here, but I am fed up with the Media and Obama supporters who behave like, well, communits/terrorists/dictators. Have they proved otherwise? No.)
