The amount of vile and bile that is spewing from people concerning the presidential candidates is repulsive.

The unfounded accusations thrown around about both of them is sickening.

Sen. Obama is not the anti-Christ, he isn't Muslim, he isn't ignorant on how the gov't works. Does this make him a good choice for president? Let the people decide.

McCain isn't heaven sent, and being a POW doesn't pad his resume on having what's needed to be a president. (and before anyone starts 'how dare you denigrate his service!' my DD214 says Honorable Discharge, Doesn't automatically make me presidential material).

So, if you don't like either man, fine. You are entitled to your opinion. But keep a civil tongue in your head, and a civil message typed out.

Why people get fed up here and delete their accounts.

Some young man, unbeknown to me, is the son of one of the poll posters. He starts calling me really nasty terms, and I take appropriate action, and block. Then it's revealed to me that his father is the one who wrote the poll.

He and I setting the issue in private, but two people keep harassing me, ect etc, and now that person, whose opinion I enjoyed reading, as blocked *me*. Of course, he left what was probably a scathing mail (as I didn't read it after all the crap that was being slung around) so I couldn't reply. Too bad too. As I had thought the matter was settled.

Some 'male' name calling, and using foul language is surprised I blocked him. Why did he call me names? Because I don't rave each and every response , or every poll people post.

Why? Mostly time constraints, but other times it's because I don't agree with the comment. Why should I uprave something I am not in agreement?

So, I replied to him "And your whiny crybaby opinion matters to me why?" and waited a while. No response, so I blocked the rude mannered twit. Then he starts spewing foul language, proving my choice to block him was the right one.

If you want a cheerleading crowd, that's fine, but I am not now, nor ever have been, or wanted to be, a member of a Rah Rah crowd.

A SH member has been accused by a 17 almost 18 yr old female of sexual harassment. Her proof are purportedly copied and pasted messages from him. These were offered to everyone as 'proof'.

No one noticed that none of the messages had any HTML coding (, SH member information, and the spacing of the supposed addressor was off center (spaces where there shouldn't have been,). If you straight copy a message, this is what you get (I will my info from a conversation I had with someone else) I selected the text, selected Copy, and then pasted it below.

There should be more proof needed than hearsay. Screen caps are easy, but that wasn't offered. I could whip up a good text file and claim it was sent to me by someone. Screen caps are a bit more difficult to fake.

Here is hubby as a small child sitting on the wishing well in King's Park, around 1972-74 ish (could be earlier). Take note of the palm tree to the right, and small gum trees to the left.



Fast forward to 2008, and here he is on the same well, minus the wrought iron frame. He, the gum trees and the palm tree have grown quite a bit.

30+ years ago, hubby had some photos taken of him in Kings' Park, Perth. He wanted to get 'updated' photographs to show now Perth and the park has changed.

Bush and his administration knew that Saddam had nothing to do with 9/11. They also knew there were no WMDs, or Mobile BioLabs, or Uranium processing for bombs, but used false information to instill terror in an already wounded and scared populace to invade Iraq. "Smoking gun" combined with "Mushroom Cloud" was used to instill terror. To me, that makes this administration terrorists, in the true sense of the word.
