~Bunny Gurl's Great Super Bowl Chili
4 or 5 lbs of Ground Beef...about 80% lean
2 pkgs. of McCormick Original Chili seasoning mix
I large can 28 oz can of crushed tomatoes
I large can of dark red kidney beans 30 oz can (drained)
2 cans of chili beans 16 oz cans (drained)
I can of tomato paste 6 oz
2 to 3 Tlbs. of Chili power
2 tsps. of sugar (to cut the acid)
1/4 cup of barbecue sauce
1/4 cup of ketcup
1 Tlb. of garlic power
3 Tbls. of onion power
Hot sauce to taste
Brown groung beef in one pkg. of McCormick Seasoning mix. Drain grease. Add tomatoes and beans and all other ingredients. Simmer for about 30 minutes. The longer you simmer the better the taste. Serve with a dollop of sour cream and top with diced onions and cheese and crackers. Enjoy!

To my Dear SodaHead Family,
Christmas Eve and Christmas Day 2007:
It was a nice Christmas 2007 for me and the family here in Chicago IL USA. My daughter in Cali came in a bit early and spent it with us and my one brother and his family on 12/15/2007. What a wonderful time we had. This year I went to my GF's Home on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day to spend it with her and her hubby and about 20 others encluding her new GrandNiece 2 weeks old. What a Blessings it is to have her in my life as a Christian Sister and a GF of 35 years. We got plenty of snow on Dec.15th and alot on Dec. 31st too! I luv snow by the way.
New Year 2008:
It was a nice nite to yell-at-the-top of my lungs "HAPPY NEW YEAR!" out my door. I spent it with a Christian Sister going thew some trials and my OH (short for Other Half). We played games, ate pizza & shrimp, and toasted with the usual "Sparkling Grape Juice" in our fluted Champagne glasses. She went home at around 4:00p.m. (Chicago time) and the rest of the nite was spent with my #2 daughter who is here in Chicago IL USA. The next day I felt very ill. I have asthma very bad and my Left knee is in bad need of surgery. I have had surgery on my Right knee a year ago Nov. 2006. But no matter their are so many more much worse off than me. Bless them all! The Grandpuppy and the BabyGurls made out like bandits. It was a Wonderful end to a Great year. Blessings to all here at SodaHead.com all my Wonderful Friends. I am so Happy to be here and to know such a Great Bunch of people that I call my "Family of Friends that live in my Computer!" May the New Year 2008 bring you only Love, Hope, and Peace!

At this time of year I really miss my Mom (RIP) and my Daddy (RIP) *tears* I just wanted to share this song that reminds me of all the wonderful "LifeTime of Boxes" that hold my memories. They loved Christmas so much.

'Twas the nite before Christmas & all thur the house; Everything stirred from the late Christmas shopper to the itty bitty mouse. Stockings stood waiting, as they had so for weeks. The roofer was checking for insulation leaks. The children made list that said, "Buy me this & that", while the very tired parents just sat & sat. Nobody thought of that real Christmas nite; They'd rather count on getting those brand new Nike Flights. Santa got fed up and Rudolph did too; And God was running out of ideas to do. The people were obsessed with buy, buy, buy; almost to the point of lie, lie, lie. So God and Santa teamed up to try once more; to give the world a hint of what Christmas Eve is really for. Santa made lots of goodies-no not toys; And these he would give to all girls and boys. Little messages with sayings from God's big book; Maybe this would work-give people a 2nd look. Santa & his elves worked hard and late; to deliver all the messages for this was fate. Then came the night the Eve for all of you; you know it-the story that seems to be true. 'Twas the night before Chrismas & all through the house, not a creature was stirring, not even a mouse.....
