Thank you very much for the invite and the chance to experience artist's I've not yet heard. Forced to literally turn off the public airwaves due to the audio darkness that has seeped into most of the music industry like a mold would spread, I have been limited to the artists that I am most familiar with. This music Snob defines music into two categories...

    1) The commercial noise pollution that is created strictly for personal gain and is confined to Clear Channels 3 minute requirements. Lyrical subject matter limited to sex and money and possessions. Shallow and empty, these little jingles are here (unfortunately) today and forgotten (thank you God!) tomorrow.

    2) Music that came thru a soul that's meant for another soul to experience-This is true art. The music in this category is absolutely timeless and is enjoyed by more than one generation. Lyrical content, if any, sends a message that touches inside as long as the listener is open. A truly great song may not even be enjoyed at the first experience of hearing it but, something will click inside you and it you will grow inside you like a flame would turn into a fire. Sometimes, One may have no clue what the song is about but the "feel" clicks inside you-for years, I never paid much attention to the words Kurt Cobain was saying in "Smells Like Teen Spirit"-The song just spewed raw energy that felt & sounded F_____G Hot!
In this category the music is true art and the genres act only as defining the artists style but, should not act as a limitation for the listeners to enjoy.

I'm afraid I'm with RAM on this one..lol I'm afraid my repertoire consists of old blues, jazz, bluegrass and country, though I have quite a punk collection from my wild years..I'm just stewing about what album you'd like a review about..lol. Thanks for the invite..I look forward to checking some reviews myself...

RAM: This group is in no way limited to new music.. in fact, reviews on older music is absolutely encouraged. The reason I made this group is to discover new music, and I don't know much about older music... Thanks a lot for joining!

Thanks for the invite, Justin. I can't say how much comment I will be able to make on much of the modern stuff out there since I don't pay much attention to it, but I will have a bit to say about stuff more than 40 years old.
