No Puppy For Paris: Should Paris Hilton have been allowed to buy a Yorkie?

Paris Hilton tried to buy a Yorkshire Terrier at the The Puppy Store in Los Angeles because she was on her way to a photo shoot and "wanted a puppy in the picture with her so it would look cuter."
An employee at the store said that it was clearly an impulse buy and did not let Paris buy the puppy.

She already has one dog and she has taken care of it thus far. I don't think she would neglect it after the photo shoot. She would most likely take care of it just like she does Tinkerbell. I see where the shop owner is coming from though. I wouldn't just let ANYONE buy a dog on an impulse, so why would she treat Paris Hilton any differently? Katelyn

She has many dogs, and she does take good care of them, who is the pet store owner to tell her she can't buy a dog? next they'll be telling us who can have kids and who can't.

The store has the right to refuse service to anyone after all, and if she was only buying it to maker her look good for a photoshoot, the puppy shop employee just probably worried that the dog wouldn't get a proper home, and be treated like a prop.
