Lots of trees, the back of the property is up against a nature reserve, so we get all kinds of critters. Deer, foxes, wild turkey, coyotes, racoons, the only thing I haven't seen is a bear, but even that wouldn't surprise me. It's pretty in the fall, but then we get six months of blah and snow.

I know snow in Texas is a rarity, I remember once when I was stationed at Kelly AFB it snowed and they shut down all the freeways.
Here we get tons of it. Average over 100 inches a year. Here's a link my town keeps faithful records.

I was flipping out! I thought my work finally caught up with what I really do here all day and blocked me!!! LOL
I was freaking out!!!! Then, FINALLY, I got the "SodaHead is making updates" or whatever page...and then it came back....but before that, I nearly had a panic attack!
