As this video demonstrates, Obama has NOT always shown "good judgment" on the issue of Iraq. Was it not Obama that said that he was "always against the war in Iraq"? This proves that Obama just follows the political current of the times... Very soon, he will switch to his old perspective (like on this video) and support the surge.

one thing i've noticed with people that dredge up these clips, is that they prey upon the time-dated nature of all things. what was prudent, and informed wisdom, in the past can easily seem like folly today - given the changeagle nature of things. one extreme example: way back in the days of wooden ships it was generally considered folly to sail straight at something for fear of falling off the edge of the world, for as any simpleton knew, the earth was flat. And so wise old salts, hugged the coastlines wherever they ventured. I also agree with choice number two, in that Obama is a tool, but then so is McCain. who doesn't think that all that money that gets "donated" to these candidates, huge sums, enough to run any third-world country, doesn't have some effect on what the candidate will do once elected. That being said, the entire question is very biased, and it seems you Cyfr have a huge chip on your shoulder. Why are you so angry? Are you one of McCain's relatives or just a member of the KKK, or what? Are you using politics as a means to vent all that pent up rage you have about the way things are going in your life? Or are you just so used to being angry that you can't tell how you come across any more? -
i like your perspective. esp..."just like the others." there is way too much money involved in running for president. i don't think it's likely that will change, as it seems the candidates are addicted to the money they amass. there's gotta be some payoff for a person to put himself/herself through the grind that is a politcal campaign, and it only intensifies should they be elected. I'm thinking money and (at least the illusion of) power.

He never set a date. It was Hillary who called for an immediate pull out. It would be insane to just up and leave. I would not have supported him in the first place if he had said that he wanted to just up and leave immediately.

I do go to wikepedia (though not actually the most realiable source as info can be changed), senate at times, and many other sites for information and research on all candidates.
I'm absolutely not blind, I'm very aware of the world around us all. Not looking for a perfect candidate. The 'Great Speeches' have not sucked me in, I've only watched a few. TV is not my source for unbiased information.
His website is a simple place for a quick look at his issues for those who do not support him. Yes I go there too, I am familiar with his website. -

This man has been bought and sold long before this election started. This is a good example of modern slavery. This man can not think for himself and he is paid not to, so he can not keep his story straight. He says what he is told to say, he stutters, mumbles, pauses to get his story straight. Obama is like an opportunistic thief. No, he is not stealing your car stereo, he is stealing your hopes and dreams. I'd personally prefer that my stereo got stolen over the latter. Obama...
