Is it REALLY better to have loved than lost than never to have loved at all??

Everybody has had to deal with loss at one time or another in there lives...would you rather be spared the hurt.....or do you just feel lucky to have had whatever it was that you cherrished in the first place?

Both loving and losing teach us lessons about life.

As typical as it sounds...I truely believe that. I recently went through a seperation with my husband. I would love to be able to say that I wish I had not waisted five years of my life on an unsuccessful marige...but I would be a lier. If it wernt for those five years I wouldn't have my daughter, and I wouldn't have my best friend (My husband.... It was a mutual seperation...luckly)
