Carnivores causing Global Warming: Would you become vegetarian to fight Global Warming?
Fighting Climate Change may have become harder than we thought. Did you know that going vegetarian reduces your carbon footprint far more drastically than any other lifestyle choices? Many scientists now say that going vegetarian reduces your carbon footprint far more drastically than eliminating your car. From production of feed crop fertilizers to refrigeration and delivery of the end product, mass produced animal foods require tremendous petroleum input. Keep your car, go vegetarian.http://planet.greenthislife.com/wpmu/2007/12/13/green-cuisine/

Answered No. I am keeping my car and still going to eat meat.
I actuall think beans with habenjaro peppers causes more global warming than any other food. We turn off the furnace in the winter and heat our home with flatulance. Maybe if we all stop flatulating the world will be a better place. -

I'm hitting the BS gong on this one. Studies are manipulated and twisted everyday. And funny thing usually say just what the group that paid for them wanted it to say. Vegetarians need to pull their noses out of the air. Human are omnivors that is what nature intended, get over it. -

That is the dumbest thing I've heard yet...the sun has everything to do with Global warming....humans have very little to do with it.....if anything we might help the earth if we go through a global cooling....but these people are just fear mongering and Al Gore is a brilliant man...because hes getting rich off of people believing in this Global warming issue. Don't get me wrong i think we can do a little but getting rid of meat is kinda ridiculous -

Guess what: humans are omnivores. We are designed to get proteins from meat, and we are designed to WANT to eat meat. This is why we have Boca Burgers and tofu hot dogs, because even dedicated vegetarians want to pretend they're eating meat. You know what humans were NOT genetically designed to do? Collect petroleum from the ground, put it into a metal vehicle, and slowly ignite it to run a combustion engine. We've only been doing that for a little over 100 years. We've been eating meat for over 10,000. Which one do YOU think should be easier for us to change?
I'm all for protecting the environment, but I'm also for finding honest and realistic ways to do it.
