Did Miley Cyrus with her song "Rockstar" rip off Lustra's song "Scotty Doesn't Know"?
Listen to Lustra's "Scotty Doesn't Know" and then listen to Miley Cyrus' song "Rockstar." See if you notice any similarities between the two songs, keeping in mind that Lustra's version came first. Did Miley Cyrus aka Hannah Montana rip off Lustra's music? *The first answer choice is Lustra's "Scotty Doesn't Know," and the second is Miley Cyrus' "Rockstar."-

Answered No way! Miley Cyrus would never rip off another artist. If there are similarities, it's a coincidence.
im not a fan of miley but i kow that her dad writes her song it doesnt mean she riped of any song she just did wat she was told and i love the song scotty doesnt know but she is just 15 and she doesnt need all this inclduing with her fotos al teenagers do it if those other teens were celebs they will have the same talk about them like they are doing to miley everyone should just drop it its all nonscence and plus evryone remakes songs its no big deal unless she has permisson to use the guitar riff and th vocal melody and plus rihanna takes beats from the song called tainted love and no one is going wild over that situation -

They don't really sound the same to me. I don't know how they are. Mostly the song says "Scotty dosen't Know". Rockstar by Miley Cyrus says a variety of things. -

Its a coincidence. Miley didnt write it. Maybe the songwriter doesnt have much life enough to make sure no other songs sound like it. Hannah sings songs written by other people. Miley on the other hand, writes her songs. So get a life and f****** deal with it! -

Although Im not a Miley Cyrus fan, there are only so many chord progressions in music. A perfect example would be Vanilla Ices' "Ice Ice Baby" sounding like the intro to "Under Pressure" by David Bowie and Queen. It may sound the same but the songs are so very different. So I wouldn't say it was entirely her fault. -

What NO ONE seems to know (If you knew ANYTHING about Miley, you would know this), she DID NOT WRITE THAT SONG! The song Rockstar is a song written for the character Hannah Montana and was put on a Hannah Montana album. I don't particularly like Miley or Hannah but ignorance just annoys the HECK out of me. Songwriters for the show write the Hannah Monatana songs. Miley has nothing to do with them until they are sheet music in front of her and she is learning and performing them. She has nothing to do with the songwriting process of Hannah Montana songs, she only writes the Miley songs (which Rockstar is not). -
