Tim Russert; worth the hype?
I have nothing against the man but the way I see it: we have people dying daily fighting for America and to better the rest of the word yet they barely get their names mentioned...I do respect Russert's work and especially his generosity.

Answered Yes, he was a great man.
Tim will be greatly missed by many many many people.
I hate to hear of the people that are fighting/dying for America...and not trying to be disrespectful, but I didn't know them or of them (thankfully). I don't mean that to be cold, but it's the truth.
I knew Tim Russert, he's the boy that grew up across the park from me (literally). He's the Buffalo boy that made it. -
Answered Eh, I can see why we care so much.
I think it's one of those things where you see him everyday, he kinda becomes a part of your family in a way. Like listening to Brian Williams on the NBC nightly news reminds me of my mom and dad cuddled around the tv in the living room. It'll probably bother me more when he dies. -
Answered None of the above
We all feel terrible for the loss of anyone, especially those in armed services,it's just that Russert was a well known Sunday morning fixture for many years....and his death at 58 very untimely, yes, if you are well known you are mourned by more. I imagine his wife and son wish this was a quieter time for them to mourn their loved one

Answered No, he wasnt that important.
