Jamie Lynn Spears' Baby Born: Should She Keep Maddie Briann?

Jamie Lynn Spears gave birth to her new baby girl, Maddie Briann, in McComb, Mississippi, at the Southwest Regional Medical Center. Britney Spears and father were seen rushing from Los Angeles to make it to the event. Maddie weighed 7lbs, 11 ounces at birth and was happily greeted by her new family. Jamie Lynn, and the father of her child, Casey Aldridge, have been engaged since March, when they decided it was the right thing to do for the baby.

Why judging her? It's her own life and we can't decide if she's able or not to take care of her child

She shouldn't be being judged by the way that Britney was. She may turn out the same but everyone knows its because of her mother influencing her and pushing her too hard into show biz. I hope Jamie turns out different.

idk why everyone has to judge jamie now like her sister they are not the same person. mistakes happen and thats wat i think happened to brittany, she was tried of everything and needed a break! no one was giving her one, i mean you hav kids and being a celeb you dont know her to judge her like that. its sad to see wat happened to her childern. jamie you hav something great a nice guy and a baby.

We shouldnt automatically think that she will be as bad as her sister, but then they were raised by the same woman, so she might be, in which case i feel bad for the kid

Why is anyone's business? She is not the only girl to become pregnant at 16. I don't condone it, but it is not the end of the world.

I think she should keep the baby, and take the chance of being a mother. She might find that she love's it. She look's to be the "motherly" type, that's a good thing.

We all know her sister's not the best mother, but we shouldn't judge Jamie until we see how she treats her kids. [but seeing she's a such a young age, I'm leaning more towards give the baby up for adoption]
