I like My chemical romance, but some of these questions about making out with them sounds more like something you'd find in a Jonas Bros. fanclub. Is My Chem becoming overatted?

They're the farthest thing from a boy band and I'm sure anyone that listens to ONE song can see that.
Then you have these people that don't know shit about My Chem and automatically diss them because of how famous they've become
and THEN
you have the teeny bopping people that are only into My Chem because they're 'hawtt' or whatever.
It's not My Chem's fault. -

No...it's not their fault people get so crazy over them. Every extremely successful band has those crazy fanatics...The Beatles, The Doors, Pink Floyd, Iron Maiden...hell, even Cradle Of Filth has groupies. That doesn't mean they're a boy band... -

They are so awsome and so special, I think they shouldn't been considerated as 'just a band' and nothing more.
They are NOT a boy band, and they are not just five dudes that make music.
They are practically haven to my ears, and music for my soul, they have keeped me sane of mind, they are way much more than just a 'music band' to me.
So...a boy band?

I used to be obsessed with them. Really, they were all i could talk or think about. I still love them and they are one of my favorite bands, but i don't think about them much anymore. I'm glad i got over that phase though.
P.S. Gerard Way is still hot!
My Chem is not a boy band. Compare them to Nsync or the Backstreet Boys (both were boy bands) and you will see nothing similar except for them all being made up of guys.

Answered Well, people are getting kind of fanatic about them.
i really like their music, they are one of my fav. bands, but some people just take it to a whole new level, it's almost scarry.
anywho, if my chem wanted to be a boy band they would need a dance rutine, i don't think anyone wants to see that! -

No. I mean, first of all they are MEN [not boys], and sure, they are a male band. But the term "boy band" is just so wrong for them. They don't do coreographed dance for example. haha...THAT would be amusing to see, though^^ And they're not in the tabloids talking about their personal life. And they don't make music only because they wan't money. -
