Energy Saver Light Bulbs Do More Harm Than Good? Do you support the mandatory switch to these light bulbs?
There's one side of the story... I found this comment from a YouTube user who supports the light bulbs that I found interesting:
"Ok so we have until 2014 to figure out how to solve the problem of mercury in these light bulbs. Why don't they just encase it in some sort of hard plastic? CFL's give off very little heat and even if properly vented could offset that heat. I don't know why people would rather just complain then figure out ways to make things work. CFL's are incredibly energy efficient and is a huge step toward solving our energy problems."
What do you guys think? Do you support the mandatory switch to these light bulbs?

Answered I dont support the switch!! These light bulbs clearly have issues with them that need to be sorted out!!
These things are horrible for people who get migraines. They bring on the migraine. Even if they find a way to dispose of the mercury, those people with migraines will live miserable lives! -

The problems should be worked out before the switch is required. There is no way the switch would be mandatory if not mandated by the green elements in our society. These bulbs are actually toxic! -

OOPS! I threw one in the Glass recycle bin yesterday! When I drove by today there was a HasMet truck and workers in silver suits rooting through the dumpster. The area was cordoned off with yellow tape and I couldn't get very close. I asked the Flag Man who was directing traffic what was happening! He told me one of those Damn lightbulbs was put in the trash and the entire area was going to be condemned! I kept my mouth shut! I have a dozen more to get rid of!!!!! Woe is you!
