Why do Some Christians think they know who is a "Real Christian" and who is not?

I have seen many posts here on SH where someone disagrees with another on religion and claim the 'other' person is not a 'real Christian"
If only the Christian God is " All Knowing" and Matt 7: 1-5 tells you to
Judge Not Least Ye be Judged. How can some Christians say they know who is a 'real christian' and who is not, without
A: Pretending they know what is in some ones else's heart.
B: Judging others in contradiction to scripture.

Answered I never say this about other people because

Only God can judge me. However, real Christians are the ones who will reach out to help you before condemning you to hell

    Answered None of the above

God determines who are Christians. It is His standard in the Bible that is used to determine.

So one believer has no call to say another is not a 'real' christian?

Not really. No one knows what is in the heart of another person. But that is on a personal level. There are a lot of "Christians" out there that fall into the category of following false teachers. I do wonder what their fate is since they are "trying" to believe, yet are believing in something false. There is a big debate on another poll whether it is necessary to repent (turn away from your sin and turn to God) before you believe. My contention is that if you do not think you need a Savior, why would you believe since the gospel message in iteself says that Christ died to pay the penalty for your sins.

Then there are the people that profess to know Christ as Savior and are in church every Sunday, but spend the rest of the week cheating on their wife, screwing their customers, or just plain breaking the law. It is hard to believe these people have a saving faith. The Bible says your life will demonstrate your faith. But like I said, only God knows their hearts.

Then there are some "religious" groups that say they are Christian but just plain do not believe what the Bible teaches.

Mother didn't you know that some xtians think they are perfect? We must all follow their gods and their rules but its ok for them to break those rules, be judgemental, condesending, patronizing and santimonious grandstanders but we'd better follow their rules; after all we all know they have a monopoly on the only triple god out there...(anyone sense the sarcasm?) frankly this ranks right up there with "Read my lips; No new Taxes".

That's the biggest problem in the world. Everyone thinks their God is the real God and everyone else is wrong.

Hi Hussein, I think you are right about that.
