North Korea Takes First Step in Stopping Their Nuclear Program: Do you believe them?
North Korea issued a statement today that said, "We are not now engaged in any [uranium] enrichment activities or [nuclear] proliferation activities, and will not engage in them in the future."Bush welcomed the move and said he would remove North Korea from his list of nationrs that sponsor terror, in addition to lifting sanctions on North Korea due to the Trading With Enemies Act.
Bush did go on to say, however, that North Korea's statement would have to be verifiable.
What do you guys think? Will North Korea stop its nuclear program? Or are they just pulling our leg...

Answered I dont believe it at all!! We have zero reason to trust them!!!
Every year they take steps to get rid of the nuclear program and every year the problem stays equally bad. Kim Jong IL cannot be trusted, just look at the way he treats the people of the country; while he has over 100 cars and imports expensive alcohol.
North Korea in my opinion is the biggest cult in the world. The people are not allowed to go from city to city without a government correspondent, and they are blocked from all outside media.
Bush was stupid to say he would remove North Korea from the list of terrorist countries. This may be one of the stupidest things he has ever said, and believe me the list is long!!!!!!!!!! -

I don't think you can trust any tyrant. If they are actually taking steps it is either due to pressure from China or a deal has been struck. Nothing good comes willingly from the hearts of men who would starve their own countrymen.
