Like every big business, there are positives, and there are negatives.
Overall though, I think they are a good company. They employ 1.4 million people, give TONS of money to charity, communities, and disaster releif, and best of all, they provide people like YOU and ME a place to shop and save a little coin. -

I love it. Its one of those choices that is never right or wrong. The prices are good and employs a lot of people. I have a problem with China being their main distributor, but our government borrows billions of dollars from them. They are slowly owning us and learning our classified secrets with our permission.Custom inspections at the ports are very lax because of Walmart's lobbying and strong economic influence. If inspections were tightened, China's goods would not meet our government standards for consumer protection. We are becoming a worldwide economy and I still watch my spending. My dollar goes further there and I have never been disappointed with my purchases. -

There isn't enough room here for me to voice all my disapproval... let me just say I saw a lot of good family operated businesses shut down by the cheap practices of Wal-Mart. When they were out-of-business and gone, then Wal-Mart's prices started their endless rise. Plus...what happened to the big American made campaign I heard a few years back? That sure quieted down fast, didn't it? -

Hey, it aint ethical and I totally disagree with its principals but if you shop there then you only have yourself to blame for it taking over the world. We have ASDA over here but it isn't nearly as cool - when I'm in the US though, I love it. -

I have been boycotting the EVIL EMPIRE for close to ten years now. Sorry...but I can not justify child slave labor to save a dime on a piece of sub-quality merchandise.
