Do you think having a gun in the house makes it a safer or more dangerous place to live?
Having firearms in my house definitely makes it....-

Only a dumbass shoots himself with his own gun and a world with fewer dumbasses is not such a bad thing. Meanwhile, all the normal people can protect themselves and family from those who have no respect for the rights of others, let alone the law. -

As long as you are trained and willing to use it. If you don't practice and become comfortable with a gun what's the point. Many people are too afraid to even pick one up. In that case it could be more dangerous to even have one because chances are you would not use it even if you had to.

i aggree, aslong as u r trained to use it,, and not like the idiots that get one for the sake of thinking they look BAD,, protecting your family is fine, i went to a range to practice, but i never carry a gun around, its in my home , if i need it and i live in a good place, i saw someone said time to move if u need a gun,, move where? LOL. :-)

It depends. If you are a responsable person and know how to store them and use them correctly. If you have them in a safe and locked up then you could be alright but if you have them just around not locked up and if you have kids in the house or if someone broke in and got a hold of them then it would be dangerous. So I'm voting undecided.

I'd rather wake up to an intruder with a handgun in my hands over a cell phone.
