    I've been poor before and never want to go back.But if we want to do something we plan ahead and save up for it seperate from our regular savings.

    With todays economy its getting difficult to save anymore! No matter how much my husband & I bring home from week to week it seems that it still has to be stretched to the limit!

    I'm hlaf and half. Spending some and saving some, and making sure theres a good balance between the two, is the smartest thing to do.

    It is possible to find a balance. I could not be happy knowing I have no savings or investments, nor could I be happy never indulging in anything "extra". I try and be reasonable and use sense in both instances.
