Primarily self taught when they were basically new to individuals--back when they were dual floppies with no internal hard drive. Took a couple of classes for specific software in later years. Also took system management classes for the old Wang system for word processing. Computers are so much easier these days. -

The only skill I have is typing. If I know what I want to say, I can type pretty fast, and I learned that just by chatting and sending emails
I did take a class back in school. But all I really got out of that was where to position your fingers on the keyboard before you start. That was helpful -

I never owned or touched a computer until 2001..then I had to teach myself every thing..Do you know how many times I wanted to throw the dang thing out the window??
Funnier yet..teaching my mom, long distance over the phone in 2004...Too funny..she was learning her way around my sisters old PC that she sent her, before going on line-she called me one day to tell me that her cursor only went in a small circle around the center of her screen...I told her, that the mouse had a ball and that she could move it all over her mouse pad..her response?
"How am I supposed to know mice have balls!"

Got my first computer 15 years ago or more, part of my job. Hard to remember not using one. LOL
