Domestic Drilling For Oil or Alternative Fuel Cars: Which will happen first?
Some feel that drilling for more oil within the United States is the solution for lowering gas prices. Others believe using alternate fuels such as hydrogen, electricity, ethanol, biodiesel will relieve our wallets from high gas prices. Which strategy do you believe will happen first?

I believe bio-fuels will happen before domestic drilling. The environmentalists will never allow domestic drilling, even if it means we go without heat, electricity, or fuel for transportation. -

even if we started drilling now we would not get a return on new drilling for over 8 years.

domestic drilling for oil will happen first whether or not that is going to be the answer still needs to be seen Since for the most part its big oil that has the money to either invent or supress any alternate fuel sorce
I was drilling shallow oil and gas wells in the early 80's they just capped them off to be used when it was economicly feasable so they will persue new technologies to recover the proven fields and serch for new untouched fields that lie under the tabacco valley in Ct for one and other promising geographical areas
