I'm always a little hesitant because I've had some really bad short haircuts.It was certainly a pleasant surprise to get so many compliments.

I've been there. And I had a really bad per right before I was going on a (rare) big vacation. So in the pictures I came out looking like Little orphan Annie. It was the 80's; what was I thinking??
It pays to be good to a good hairdresser when you find one. Worth their weight in gold.

I used to do the curly perm.Thought I looked hot but now its just laughable.Pictures say a thousand words.

So true! And it only looked good after the first haircut. Too tight when first done, growing out and getting a little flat after the second cut.
What were we thinking??

It must have been the style! My oldest daughter and I have had some great laughs looking at our pictures from back then.Maybe that's why we did it! for a good laugh years later!

I get my hair cut short whenever it starts to bother me or when I start getting too lazy to do anything with it. I'm trying really really hard to grow it out right now (it's the longest it's been in about 4 years) but I know I'll get sick of it eventually and cut most of it off.

well....sometimes becasue it gets on my nerves but basically I don't becasue I enjoy having long hair that actually isn't a wig like a lot of people wear.

I usually don't cute my hair because of the season but when I feel either like I want it to be cut or if it needs to be cut. But I have never based getting my hair cut on a season.

I wear it short and spiky all year. I don't like to spend time fooling with my hair I prefer wash-blow-dry-and a little spray and away I go in less than 5 minutes!
