Answered I only put in a certain dollar amounts worth of gas at a time.
I have a Honda. Usually it takes about $28-$30, which isnt that horrible (since I live in L.A and gas is more here). I don't always fill it. I usually put in $20-$25 each time. That will last me almost a week. I don't really do a ton of driving. Mostly to work and back. -
28 feet means one day. Things are looking better, now when i go out i play the tides and wind and hope for an eventful and picturesque drift. Also for the first time I'vegotten to know everyone on the slip, nice chats and shared sunscreen. I am worried that people will start hanging laundry out soon, picture that.

I wouldn't want to be away from the ocean, been on it all my life. Some friends have sail boats I just didn't have enough patience with them at least in terms of getting out there going somewhere and getting in. Sailing requires much more time and if u like to fish, u can't chase them. I like to fish as well as cruise.

for me the reason i would want a sailboat is because it kinda gives you the ability to work with the ocean rather than owning it.. I dont fish or hunt but just because I can buy food. I would if I needed to though.. I'm going to get a boat and take it someplace.. maybe ten feet maybe around the world..

I gotta tell you, there is nothing better than fresh when it comes to fish. You truly understand how delicious it is, when its fresh. And its fun, say going after a specific fish. and then there are the crustaceans, crabs, lobster, scallops clams and muscles. I lived off the ocean for two years when i was a kid. Of course in those days i could cast off shore and bring something in in 10-15 mins, today, out in Deep waters u can go hours without a bite. They're fishing em out. The other issue I had with sail boats is that from a recreational standpoint they are limited to favorable weather including, wind (not too much or too little, zig-zag maneuvering, no direct route and time the biggest thing for me.

FYI the reason for that above the increases everyone is experiencing is because the government imposed the "road" tax on all fuels used for transportation. When i was about well, 1976,77 I owned an aircraft. a small piper tri-pacer. at that time fuel was $.97/gal for 98 octane, required for my craft, went to like $1.75/gal and took off after that. I got rid of the plane because i wasn't using it enough.

Answered I just hold my breath and fill the tank up!
It's like thirty bucks to fill up my tank. It used to be eleven. Jeez. And is it me or does the gas seem not to last as long as before? As if they are diluting it with something. I don't know. I have had my car for many years and I think it eats up gas a lot more now than before. And it's a Honda. It's usually pretty good with gas.
