I would not consider my case at this time to be anywhere near representative of the general population, but gas prices are effecting me most out of the things in that list. I don't have any insurance so when I "need" health care I'm simply out of luck. I'm eating cheap, rather than healthy. My formal education is currently on hold but I already have more of it than I've ever been able to make use of and there are free public libraries I can access plus many educational books that I own and have not yet gotten around to reading. That leaves gas and I'm living in my van right now, never knowing where I will be staying from night to night, so that one is unavoidable. And by the way, that gas-tax holiday doesn't impress me as any cause for celebration. Hmmm.... Are we in it already? How would I even know. Not like it would in any way be noticeable so I would have to take someone's word for it... or simply not care. There are much more important issues out there, like the employment shortage, the fact so many people have not yet learned their lesson and want a third Bush term with a new face, or the fact that equality is still a dream rather than a reality... but I'm not worrying about it. I'm doing something about it. No use in worrying about what we can't change, and no need to worry about what we can change. Answered High gas prices
Mostly just the gas, but the food prices are not so great either, except I try to just mostly buy sale items. I have a horse, and that is a real buget buster! Hay alone is nearly $20 a BALE !!! And I have 3 dogs and dry dog food has gone sky high, unless you feed your dogs that grocery store generic filler food with no nutrician. Animal food and gas prices.....that's what's killing me.
