    No, they just think they are. Most young people are for Obama, but they can't tell you why. I'm a college student, and out of SEVERAL "Obamabots" I have spoken to, NONE of them can tell me why they support him. All they say is "we need change." Then I ask "why? What is so bad in your life"? And they can never give me an answer, except for "healthcare." Well, uhh . . . . you're still gonna have to pay for the shit, people!

    My daughters are 13 years apart in age. My 11 yr old is very interested in politics, where as my 24 yr old wasn't at the same age.

    It's the same way with the children I see. My 16 yr. old and his friends are much more opinionated and interested than their older siblings were. I think it's great!

    Me too, I encourage my 11 yr old to stay up on what's happening. Not that it takes much, she wants to have a say in what's going on when she hits 18.

    We're being forced into it. Between the exponentially rising gas prices, the War in Iraq, and all this other War on Terror stuff we all have a relatively strong view on how we want things to change.

    Well, they can continue to learn and voice their opinions and then once 18 make sure they vote. Don't get discouraged, just keep staying informed and you will get your chance.

    As a young person interested in politics, yes I do believe so. I always make sure to keep up with it all and continue to research different politial views since mine are always changing. Teenagers change their minds alot and I like to stay informed. I have a lot of opinions and politics helps me get my opinions out into the world. Katelyn
