    Catholic school! I was too interested in learning so that I could do well for myself later on in life. I never wanted to have to ask my parents for anything.

    I knew only a few people who smoked pot, but they didn't do it during school. Most my friends only drank alcohol at parties. We had a mellow student body in my class of 1989. Though we all laughed very hard at the drug jokes in Fast Times at Ridgemont High

    I liked school and wasn't interested into drugs...maybe I was lame, but I learned a lot useful stuff, lol ;)

    Actually not until college, hey it was the 60's man. but that wasn't the brightest idea. In HS I did skip class for various other reasons like we were hungry so we went to IHop which was new back then and was the International House of Pancakes. Which I guess is why they shortened it.

    I really don't have a problem about people smoking pot and it bothers me about the laws. I don't think kids should do it because you kinda loose your short term memory and what I know now is that I would know a lot more if I had attended classes instead of eating pancakes.

    It didn't make it right and now that I'm older, I wish I cared more about school and less about drugs. These are things we see after we get older and it's amazing how mom and dad are right when they say....you'll understand when you get older. Damn it!

    It sure does make it hard to focus in class. I had no parental guidance at all. My parents were too busy being drunk to do the mom and dad thing.

    Pot was available in the 50's, but in high school we didn't know that much about it. I would skip class to go get a cigarette. Then in 1977, I gave up smoking.....smartest thing I ever did!!!!

    there was lost of drugs at my hight school pot, meth, and crack. there was even a narc, that pretended to be a student. if you know the right people you could get it for free, i just never touched any, but beer.
