this is a game for the Nintendo DS that i started playing today, it is for people who either want to lose weight or just want to make their lives healthier.
i invite you to join me in the challenges!!!
each day you can choose up to 6 challenges, some are instant and some are meant to be implemented over the next 24 hours. Just really basic little things that are easy to do.
so how this works is i post all the challenges i come across on here and if you want to play you choose as many as you want and complete them, okay?? keep checking back as i'll be posting more as i find them.
1 Minute Challenges
- Drink a glass of water
- Drink a glass of fruit juice
- Do 5 sit ups
- Do 10 sit ups
- Do 15 sit ups
- Do 20 sit ups
- Take 50 steps around the room
24 Hour Challenges
- For your next snack eat a piece of fruit
- For your next drink have a glass of fruit juice instead of a fizzy drink
- Walk 500 steps (about 5 minutes)
- Walk 1000 steps (about 10 minutes)
- Walk 2000 steps (about 20 minutes)
- Walk for 1 hour
- Put the salt away and don't use it all day
- Put a pitcher of water on the table and use it
So who's willing to do some of these challenges today??

Answered I do those things anyway
Yup i'm constanty walking... as you can see by my shoe post... I wear out new shoes in less then 3 months.
I do about 100 sit ups if not more a day and do 100 pushups,
I drink water and juice only,
I don't use salt at all "i actually don't like salt"
and I eat lettace as a snack because salad is my favorite food. Yet i'm still bigger then what i would like and I've been doing this for well over a year. -

maybe you are the right weight for your height, have you checked your BMI out??
if you still feel overweight take a note of all the calories you eat and all the calories you burn off. if you're burning more than you're eating and still not losing weight it may be a thyroid problem or something. -
yeah my BMI is around 25.7-26.8 which is overweight... but I also have pretty broad shoulders which prolly adds to the weight.
I already do the caliorie thing. I usally get about 1500-1800 cal. a day and I believe i burn more then that working in physical labor. Though I never seem to loose weight lol.

That's pretty awesome! I think I'll opt for the water instead of a fizzy drink for dinner.
