ARE CD'S WORTH THE BUY ANYMORE IN STORES? there's on way im paying $19.99!?

why buy a cd when you can go to i tunes and download, or buy songs and insert in into your ipod? The cd's that artist are putting out are materalistic fluff. there is no way im paying $19.99 for a cd.

    I still buy them but usualyy pay $13-15 for them...mostly buy for my young son....

    i really like the idea of itunes and i use it all the time... but if i want a CD and i can find it at a good price... a physical copy never hurts to have.

    when i shop at the mall it cost that most of the time, and even if i went somewhere for it to cost $13.99 they add tax and make it around $17.

    If you think about it! nothing can beat a hard copy! if you lose or break your Mp3 Player yours SOL, CDs are always going to be good! I would say buy the CD and load it onto your Mp3 player! use the player for everything, keep the hard copies at home somewhere safe! that way no matter what you always have the music!

    that's a smart ideal... its just that the cd's are not that great to me anymore. i would spend a lot of money for it to only like three songs.

    well you dont need to buy them the day they are released! wait a while, when they are like 10$, or buy the songs you like and get the CD a while later when it is dirt cheap!

    But not long ago I bought a 3 CD box set of Conway Twitty's Greatest Hits for my brother who is in a nursing home, for $7.50 at Walmart. And I thought it was fairly cheap.

    well that was very nice. if its worth it i would buy it. i just buy all of these cd's from name brand artist and their cd's are disappointing.

    My grandkids told me about a free site for muscic downloads called Limewire.com. I think that's the name anyway. iTunes is ok .99 cents a pop.

    nice. it is true tommy some artist have really good music, but most are just worth downloading only a couple. i hope it rocks! : )

    my computer's battery died and I still can't get a new one because my mom has too many bills that I have to help with even with my stimulus check I still can't get it yet. my iTunes was removed from my computer too somehow so even if it was working I can't download my new cds on my iPod now anyway! :(
