Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare is a first-person shooter similar to previous games in the Call of Duty series, but set in the present-day instead of World War II.

Cod 4 is way better! 1st person shooters are always better. And at least hardcore search and team is realistic. Cod 5 is big mistake. Why would they go back to world war 2! Cod 4 has made so much money. Why wouldn't they just make more map packs and new weapons. Perks are kinda gay (martyrdom, last stand, and juggernaut). Thats why hardcore is better. None of those perks help. Use Claymores x2, Sleight of Hand, and Dead Silence for defense on search n destroy. And Bomb Squad, UAV Jamz, and extreme conditioning for offense. -
Answered GTA IV!
COD seems like ur run of the mill FPS, as good as it looks or how it plays, GTA has a more diverse style in its gameplay. Though its not as sandbox as previous GTAs its the best in the series and ranks among the top games of the year along with Metal Gear and others.

Both are great games but I would pick GTA IV since it had more content.
