Your Ebay bargains and rip offs. Please share if you have any?
For example I got a bargain with my massage table for $150 when I would have to buy one in the shops for $600.Rip off - I bought a cd for $35 I could have just bought for $20 in the shops...........................................................

I had one person who took a while to ship the item, at least I thought it could have shipped a bit more timely, other than that all my Ebay experience has been really good......timely shipment, packed well, and good people. But, I do only buy from people with better than 98% feedback rating......

Good monopod for my SLRs. Ebay $10 + $13 shipping. WOuld have cost me $50 or more around where I am. Sectioned camera backpack, $120 and it would have cost me $399, and other camera equipment. I have been an 'ebayer' for almost 10 yrs. Almost as long as they have been online. -

I got a Boss digital delay pedal for my guitar for $120, dam near new or barely ever played. They retail for about $200 plus.
I've never been ripped off on ebay as yet (touch wood) but have from another site, payed for a cd nearly a year ago and still haven't got it. The site says the transaction is still pending, even after numerous emails to them, I still get no reply (or a cd) -

Not actually in merchandise, just in BS....I was bidding on 4 items at once, maybe $600 - $700 total. Then, about halfway through, I got an "account suspended" notice. So after a bunch of 4 letter names, I checked into it and they said something about fraud. When pushed further, they said something about a "violation of terms"....All BS and a run around. I had a 100% rating with all my purchases, always paying within 10 minutes after the end of the auction....
Long story short, they wanted me to provide a copy of my drivers license, current tax form, and current bank statement....Yeah right. Like I'm just gonna hand it over without knowing the specific charges!
Well, a few complaints to the BBB in their area got nowhere. And that was a year ago. Account still suspended...
But I did get the items by having someone else bid on them for me.
Funny part is that PayPal is a subsidy of Ebay and I have no problems with them. you'd think if the parent company suspended my account, they would check with PayPal and see that all transactions were in order...
