I do not particularly like the word but I see what Dave is doing here, he is making an attempt to really take away its meaning. I look at it like this, we as Americans have got to grow up and get past this kind of thing and see that we are all Americans I read this book about six years ago etitled NIGGER by Randall Kennedy. Good book for those of you who take interest in sensitive controversial issues. -

I found it funny in exactly the same way that Jonathan Swift's "A Modest Proposal" is both slyly funny and revolutionary.... It points out a lot of the truly subtle and the not so subtle ways our society is still quite racist. I mean you gotta love Dave Chappelle! The line about how "well spoken" the young man is, oh and what a great athlete... Those are textbook examples, right next to "some of my best friends are black," of how folks can say really racist things and kid themselves that they're not doing so. It's why I think you're going to find that some of the people who are most guilty of talking in racist code on SodaHead are going to be the most disturbed by this skit and the most unable to see any humor in it. -

I've seen that on the Dave Chappel show, that's funny. I think if it would have been a black family portraying the role as the "Niggars", it would had been more funny to other people. They used every stereotypical view , they have about blacks, in that sketch.Dave Chappel is a straight trip LOL... -
love chappelle! one of my favorites is "blind supremacy" but couldn't find it to post it so here's another one
