It may be stinky.. but it takes the sting right out.. vinegar..but be careful kiddo.. you could pay for a bad sunburn years from now..

I know, Jen. I've never burned before. I suppose I should have spent more time in the sun before trying to spend a day at the waterpark... and I hope I don't have to pay for it... we'll just have to wait and see I guess.

be careful hon.. I put SPF 10000.. well the highest one on the market at least on myself before doing anything in the sun.. I used to think it would be cool to be tan.. but it's not worth it..

My children hated it when they were young but it
works so good. Wipe your sunburn down with
white vinegar and it will immediately take the
sting out of the sun burn. Smells awful but works great!!

buy Banana Boat After Sun Lotion......I always peel, but I didn't this year. It's a little expensive, but it really does work. I was a skeptic until I tried it.
  • raves     [-] by suzie
I should have gotten the Banana Boat... lol... I've started the peeling process already.

    White vinegar...
Soak a paper towel in it (not dripping but wet).
    Place it on the sunburn...
    Enjoy.

I am very pale and tend to burn alot and that is what I always do. Yay

This is what a doctor "prescribes" for sunburns. It really does lessen the degree of it.

Buy an aloe plant break open the leaf and rub the gel that comes out on your sunburn. ( That works way better than that stuff that comes in a bottle)

    Answered Here's what I do...

aloe. but be careful. some cheap aloe is like plastic wrap and keeps the heat in. Use cool washcloths to bathe the skin. ANd if you have blisters, do NOT pop them. (I did, and let's say that I saw hell).

Get some 100% aloe Gell, (Bandanna boat) put it on and then wait about 45 min. Get into a nice shower, not hot, not cold. Do not use soap.
Wash off the Gell. This will take the heat out of the skin and you won't peel.
If you put the gell on after you get out of the sun, Your tan will last and your skin will be as Smooth as a baby's butt.
heat skin peel gell sun tan skin smooth babys butt

Ow that sounds bad, I haven’t had a real bad burn in ages but seem to remember using Vaseline intensive care lotion with aloe to keep the skin moist and wearing light loose clothing.
