    My original name is my real nick name. All of my family has called me that since I was a baby. Later it felt too personal, so I changed it a bit.

    I answered a poll from my Senator, Barbara Boxer. It asked me to pick one of ten items as the most important issue and a nickname. I used one given to me by dear friends. Then I get the welcome email from SH and discover I already have a profile with one vote - the Boxer poll - and one solicitation for an add...lol...haven't stopped since...

    Well, As a Latino living in South Florida, I found out very quickly about the Cuban refugees in Dade County (Miami).
    They (Cubans) are the most ungrateful, unyielding ideologues and extremists that can never be wrong, and that anyone who questions them is unpatriotic, terrorist or Communist.
    Wait a minute, that sounds like our current administration in the White House. Lol!!! terrorist communist wait minute sounds current administration white house lol

    ok.. well kinda.. I am really white.. but it was actually given to me as a nick name by a teacher of mine... there was no race-hate intended, it was all in good humor.. and the name just stuck cause it was funny.

    Ok my real name is Shanna my nieces first word was nanna she was trying to say Shanna, so my neices and nephews call me Nanna. when I came on SH I put a spin on the Nanna with Dnanna

    Spanish for Green Day, my second-favorite band. I'm and Idiot americano. It was created in the year 2008, so that's where the '08 comes from.

    My favorite Band is Linkin Park. I might have used that but i think "Dia Verde" sounds catchier than "Linkin Parque" or "Parque de Linkin".
