What vegas hotel do you suggest?

I am currently going on Vacation to Vegas in October and going to a friends wedding as well. I have never been there and I was just wondering what hotels you guys would suggest!

It is just me, a single guy 21 years old. So it doesnt need to be top of the line or anything! but go ahead and let me know which ones you liked!

Answered Excalibur

I have stayed at Excalibur numerous times. The rooms are simple and clean, the service is great, the location is excellent and during the week you can get a double room for around $60.00 a night. If you don't need all the frills Excalibur is the place to stay.
I also like Treasure Island alot. If you are looking to be mainly on the opposite end of the strip from Excalibur. Treasure Island is a bit more upscale, I think they are around $80.00 a night during the week AND try to get a room facing the strip......AWESOME VIEWS in those rooms.
My friend just stayed at the new Planet Hollywood and she loved it. Loads of funs stuff to do there but it is a bit more in the $120.00 a night for the cheaper rooms.

The Excalibur and Planet Hollywood are good. The Stratosphere is less expensive and is just as good as the other two.

I've stayed at several of them (used to live there), and the Venetian is BY FAR the best one! The service was immactulate, the place is beautiful, and the rooms are sweet!

bout how much a night do you remember?
  • raves +1   [-] by Mr. Nichols
I didn't pay for it, but it surely couldn't have been cheap. My family had a reunion in Vegas and we all stayed there, and it was payed by the family dime (everybody chipped in to get a reduced rate), so unfortunately I can't answer that question. Sorry.

All of them are decent with Bellagio, Ceasars, Mandalay, MGM and Paris part of the top tier Casinos.

Wherever you can get the best deal is the answer.

Maybe try Excalibur... it is the lower end version of Mandalay and we were treated very well there... we weren't staying there but everyone was very helpful and polite and it was kinda a fun theme =)
  • raves +1   [-] by Michelle Princess Pack Leader
Yep, don't even gamble there.....Mandalay Bay is horrible!
