People do stuff they wouldn't even consider any other time, when they're angry. Road rage, spousal and child abuse, random killings...

Of course, I'll do any of those for money, so...

any strong emotion can change a life. each one motivates the person to a different behavior but they are equally strong.

Pride. It can be applied in many ways to. I know that pride is supposed to be one of the seven deadly sins or whatever, but if used in a good way, I don't see the problem.

Love!!!!!!!!!! It can conquer the hardest of hearts, do miracles and change lives. There's no greater feeling than to be loved, whether it's by your wife, your children, your family or your best friends. Even the love your pets give you make difficult times appear better and easier to confront. A person without love is a lost soul.

I hate to think like thi, but it seems that hate is. All that is wrong with the world today is because of hate, so it must be the stronger motivator. Still though, somehow my mind wishes love were the stronger motivated. In some people it is... but in too many it's hate. Hate is the only thing worth putting any energy into hating.

hate....it can make u do outrageous things...sometimes because of love...and fear can make you hate, and hate can make u love, and greed can make u fear, and love can make u greed, etc.....all of em suck

Guess it depends on the context.
The pursuit of money is first and foremost in everyone's mind.
Most people I know use 'material items' to judge a persons success.
While none of us NEED a 60" wall mount TV. lots of people out there just 'have to get one'.
Lots of people will quit their job they are happy at for one they will be less happy but make more $$$$$.
I'd be willing to bet 75% of all marital arguments, and further that to divorce, are caused by arguing over money and not having enough of it.

All of these are powerful emotions, but I think greed is the one that drives the largest percentage.

For me, it's Love...no question about it! Lots of folks are motivated by hate, got no time to waste,,,,,life is way too short for that, besides it consumes the person who hates just as it hurts the recipient.....
