Does global warming exist?
This is a highly political topic and expect a lot of debate on this. I'm not so sure it exists, however it seems as if people just accept that it does exist. When I am talking about Global Warming, I do mean man-made global warming. There are a few scientists who are not well publicized who seem to think that man-made contributions to global warming are trivial if at all. I'd love to hear your thoughts.

I really don't know. I can't say for sure yes or no and I refuse to blindly believe everything the media and politicians say. I am not well read in the subject and I honestly haven't followed up on it. But I do know that Earth and the environment is constantly changing. The environment today is not the same as it was millions of years ago. I do think that we are not taking care of our planet though, so I agree on that point. I just can't conclusively say that global warming is the direct product of carbon emissions because I don't know. -

Well... Man's irresponsible use of natural resources certainly has an effect on the earth -- smog, carbon emissions, etc. -- and we should be good stewards of the earth, which is becoming smaller every day.
But algore is the biggest lyin' snake oil salesman of modern times...who is profiting from his "global warming" myth that he has perpetrated on his liberal nutcases.... and the environmental whackos are a threat to the future of America.... they use the environment as a political tool to promote their liberal agenda at the expense of decent, hardworking Americans. -

It is difficult to deny that the "globe" is not warmer at some times than others.
However:
- It is not man-made, can certainly not be man-controlled or man-reversed.
- It is a GOOD thing when the earth is in a warm cycle, for the whole planet. -

Technically we should call it climate change, simply because some areas are going to warm up (like the arctic, which already is), and some parts are going to cool. The term 'global warming' refers to this, but most people who do not know enough about the topic tend to believe that global warming solely means the warming of the earth, which is only partially true. Either way, yes global warming in your terms does exist and, although humans are greatly excelerating it...not good. -

Every one caused it. Even Partly me. It's killing our planet. If we don't stop it NOW every one is gonna die in at least 10 yrears or at least half of the world will be under water... So help stop globel Warming NOW and save us and your self. -
Hmmmm... you have the position you have on global warming and you do not know who Al Gore is? Is this a joke? Either that or you do not follow American or World politics at all. Nor do you follow who wins Noble prizes. He is an American politician, was a Senator and Vice President with Bill Clinton. He has been a long time hypocrite who advocates how humans are destroying the world and wants Green restrictions placed on people, yet he himself has not cut back on his personal pollution of the planet.

Every year, I love to see the fall colors from the trees, but because of all the poisons that are being emitted into the air, the fall colors are not as vibrant as they once were. Slowly, but surely, if one just pays attention, one can see that the earth is changing and it is not a good change. All living things have a right to live and breathe and exist on this earth. But we all must do our part to be a part of a good solution and not part of the problem.
Over the years, I have changed my lifestyle and have really gotten into recycling, not using my car as much. Being careful not to be wasteful. Human beings are the real pests on this planet and we have got to change our ways or our days are numbered, here. -

Global warming..... Well, I do know that the weather on our little blue ball is changing. It's not as it used to be. Over here, in Iceland, the summers have gotten hotter and longer. They now span four and a half months (May, June, July, August, and half of September) rather than the usual three (June, July, and August). And the winters, while we get VERY little snow anymore, are extremely cold. The frost level is unbelievable, and the chances of there being a stillness in the air is virtually unheard of during the winter time. It always seems to be thirty below and howling winds strong enough to tumble cars over in their parking lots. It's obvious that something is wrong. Global warming? Isn't that just another fancy expression for "Oh crap, we're screwed!"? Is there such a thing as global warming? I don't know. Can you prove to me that there isn't? -

Global Warming is not a hoax, it's a scientific reality. Look up the charts in Wikipedia, they don't lie. However, I believe that we are speeding up the process wether we drive or not. Let's face it, Humans are the flu virus of earth. -
