Can Gas Prices Get Any Higher?
Gas prices have risen to new highs, causing many people to change their spending habits and consider alternate forms of transportation to get around town. With the economy already in a slump, these high gas prices are leading more people into debt, especially in cities where gas has reached over $5.00 a gallon.-

We all need to stand together and force the price down. The time has come when the people of the USA need to unite and say we are not going to take this and vote everyone of these politicians out of office and start with a new slate. The gas companies have everyone thinking that gas for 3 dollars is a bargain that is bull. Ask yourself this why does gas reach an all time high with leaps and bounds then when it comes down it is only in dribs and drabs. -

They use the excuse that there is a shortage. Now guessing they will use the storms to raise it more. My husband worked in the oil fields for over 25 years there NEVER has been a shortage. Just people making money and hurting people to do it. Our government allows it to happen. Wonders how they sleep nights knowing how they have hurt the regular people. Watching people struggle as they make HUGE profits. -

If we go to war with Iran there will deffintly be an increase on price, but if we dont then I strongly belive that gas price will not go really high but just enough to keep the poor poorer and the rich richer. Also I belive that if the government is allowed to do offshore drilling THAT WOULD REALLY HELP............. -
Answered Yes, gas prices will continue to go up until something drastic happens.
The price of oil is based on the Economic principles of supply and demand, with India and China industrializing both are causing a large spike in demand on oil, this trend will continue, which will keep the price of oil going up unless more supply is added to the market. Of course we are sitting on the largest supply of untapped oil in the world... -
Answered No, gas prices will not continue to rise much more.
if the american people as a whole look at the oil tycoons who stole the white house and have fattened their pockets and are still giving away our country by the minute, maybe we all may have a chance at going to Mic-e- D's twice a week. -

I seriously don't see it going down any time too soon,
but I am praying I am wrong. The people can't afford to
pay those wicked high prices and still feed their children
and pay their mortgages and bills. There will be alot more
homeless people/famlies out there if they continue to climb. -

Gas is over $8 per gallon in England according to news radio report I heard yesterday. Not sure how true that report is, but as long as the oil companies continue to make millions & billions of dollars in government supported profit it will continue to rise. -

It’s a supply and demand no brainner, the more you regulate and tax something like oil the less we are going to get and the more it’s going to cost. Oil, coal and nuke power are all proven safe technologies that work today. DRILL NOW, DRILL HERE & PAY LESS or else kiss your disposable income and our supper power status goodbye. PS could someone please tell Al Gore NASA says the globe has been cooling the last couple of years? -

I think that the oil people will test us to see where our breaking point is and then cap the cost at a little below that. That way, they get the most money and we're conditioned to paying higher fuel costs. (Until they want more money and we begin this whole game all over again in twenty years!) -

I don't see it going down. It might go down right before election to fool the people into thinking things are getting better, then it'll jump right back up.
Were stuck between a rock and a hard place.

Until the American people stick together and say enough is enough will anything get better. Those oil tycoons are rolling in our dough!
